TL;DR: Big portions, super speedy pickup for takeout, highly recommend calling directly for pickup! Was planning a dinner in with my roommates and stumbled upon this gem on Yelp. I called to place our order directly with the restaurant around 6pm, and drove to the restaurant to pick up our order at 6:20pm, and the food was still hot after the 20 minute drive home. We ordered the duck curry, pumpkin curry, and papaya salad. Both curries were delicious, had the perfect spice level, and went well with the brown rice we had at home. We were able to make the food last for 2 days (split amongst 3 people). Would love to come and dine in one day! 4% surcharge for non-cash options

Said open til 3 pm. Construction paper covering the windows leads to the belief they are closed for something. Best to call ahead, but I'm assuming no Thai here for a while.

Surprisingly, this place has really slipped for the worse. The menu eliminated a lot of dishes and now only offer fewer selections. The food has definitely been tweaked - while their pad thai still has somewhat good flavor, it doesn't have peanuts and the tofu isn't even fried. Those are just two examples from one dish. With other thai places in the area, it's still a good place to eat, but it definitely is a shell of its former self, as the cliche goes.

The pad Thai so expensive & so small portion. & it's so dry & bland . No sauce no taste at all . The presentation is not impressive as well as the taste . That's it .

I have been coming here since the 90's with my husband. This was our favorite Thai Food go to every Friday, Saturday or a weeknight before the pandemic hit. I still through this day order from door dash or grub hub and get my Best dinner, lunch or soup. they have never change in their Wonderful Services. Its Absolutely Delicious Freshly cook food.

It's a good restaurant, but I wish that to go dishes would be assembled with more care. Regardless of the fact that we are not eating inside the restaurant, but taking food out, we want the dishes to look the same way they would look if we were enjoying them at a restaurant. We pay the same amount of money for them, so, please, do not skimp on food or garnish.

Today on Valentines Day my partner & I went to have dinner and we waited 30 mins to be seated & the restaurant was full of people. From what we saw there was only one server and was running around to fulfill everyone order, but when we asked to me seated the 1st he mumbled something incomprehensible & continued to served other customers. If the wait was gonna be long they could at least seated us? Eventually we asked about & being seated & the guy told us they are now longer serving new customers, upset we left to patronize another place. The customer service was awful & there could have been another server to take customers orders?! From what I have being reading from previous posts it looks like Bangkok Garden under new ownership & they are employing the formula of more for less, but it is a loosing formula as quality of food goes down as well the customer service. RIP Bangkok Garden you were awesome at the beginning, but now you lost us as customers and will go now to White Elephant in South San Francisco!

I used to go to this place with my fiance all the time a couple of years ago and went back today. Im sad to say, the quality has died down ALOT. The pad see ew tasted mushy as though it was cooked several days ago and left in the refrigerator and taken out and mashed and heated in the microwave. The yellow curry didn't taste great , either. The vegetables were overcooked and soggy and didn't have the usual fresh taste. Is this place under new management?

This use to be our family's go to for great Thai food in the Daly City area but not anymore. The restaurant seems to be under new ownership that the quality of service (they charge 4% when you use CC or debit card) and the quality of food has gone way down! DO NOT WASTE your money here. We found a piece of plastic (looked like it may have come from a decoration in the restaurant) in our food, the food had absolutely ZERO flavor and their roti dessert is NOT roti but is now some sort of puff pastry and they didn't have the usual ice cream that comes with it (they only had sherbet). Such a HUGE disappointment!

The food is ok but at the end, credit card charge is 4%, which I think is illegal. Also requesting a receipt is also weird. All hand written without a restaurant‘name. When asking why the receipt is like that: the guy who in charge responded relatively arrogant and ignores the request from client. …. Not with basic politeness.

This place went so downhill. The food was tasteless and not even tasty. I was so disappointed they every charge 4% for using a debit card

The food alright. This is the first time I had the food delivered to my work. The packaging is less than desirable. Why would you pack green curry in a foil rather than in a soup/stew container? Most of the curry gravy had spilled and it was very messy!

Ordered fried chicken over fried rice and it seemed they just refried the chicken. No way the dish can be cooked in around 7 minutes

Far from the best take-out Thai I've had. We ordered pad see ew and a yellow curry, one extra extra spicy and one medium. Neither came with any spice at all (they must have forgotten to add any spice or peppers whatsoever). The yellow curry still had pretty good flavor in spite of the lack of spice but the pad see ew was just flavorless, season-less mush. We added some Mexican salsa we had in the fridge to try and salvage it. Oh well, you win some and you lose some....

Unfortunately the food was delicious but at the very end when asked for the check they decided to tell us that they needed to upcharge us for a credit card payment which completely ruin the experience. Adding an additional 4% on top of the $120 we spent is uncalled for.
