At 5:30 pm on Friday we were able to get a table right away. The main room was a lot noisier than the lounge area, however, the better seating was in the main room with the wide windows. Our waiter was attentive and made great suggestions. I recommend the lamb and macaroni with jalapeños and bacon. The macaroni dish was enough for 2 people. The Watermelon and Pineapple alcoholic drinks (I forgot the names) were refreshing.

What can I say? I am probably bias. I love to support my neighborhood places. This place is always great for big group and menu selection is good. Great for brunch, lunch and dinner. And occasional happy hour drinks.

TLDR; they really made it happen for a vegetarian! I went to boulevard for a private event where the rest of the guests had the option of a beef or tuna entree. I told them I was a vegetarian and the chef was going to make me a special dish. I figured it would just be a simple & boring risotto dish which is what a restaurant of this type typically does for me. I was right that it was a risotto dish, but I was completely wrong in thinking it would be boring - I really enjoyed the thought they put into the flavors & I even got to try a white asparagus and morel mushroom. Both vegetables were cooked beautiful and absolutely perfect in my dish. Super flavorful and well presented. The lentil dip at the beginning of the meal was complex and delicious - definitely order it. The desserts were solid. A little basic but delicious. Overall i'd recommend this spot for sure. The food was fantastic. Good ambiance for work events or maybe even a romantic night.

Love the cozy old school bar area. The food is always solid here, the lemon chicken soup is so delicious as are all their salads. Good drinks and service. Not a fan of their main dining room; something about that wide open space and cramped window seats where you have to sit to people next to you on the couch.

This our go-to place to dine out as a family. Great selection, quality food / something for everyone, fare priced, and good service. I love the Boulevard Blues cocktail ?. Can be a bit chilly at times so wear a sweater if you're someone who's often cold.Parking: Can fill up when busy. Find a street spot somewhere.Kid-friendliness: Generally good for kids and families.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp

This restaurant is located at Westlake. They have their own parking lot. However, it's kind of hard to find parking during their peak hours. We were greeted and seated right away upon entering the restaurant. They have an open kitchen. It's also kind of noisy in there. They do have an extensive menu. We decided to order the grilled salmon and the tutto mare. The food came out in a timely manner. The grilled salmon was moist in the inside. The mashed potatoes and sauteed veggies were tasty. The pasta for the tutto mare was cooked al dente. It came with a good amount of seafood. The parmesan cheese added an extra flavor to it. The server was friendly and nice. He came by to check up with us a couple of times. We will definitely come back to try their breakfast items and other entrees. Note: Keep in mind that they only allow 1 hour 30 minutes seating for dining there.

Good food here. Dropped in yesterday after an Ocean beach tour. I ordered the 2x2x2: comes with two eggs any style, two pieces french bread and 2 pieces bacon with choice of sausage or ham. Yipes, no toast or muffin for $17.00 After a brief ten minutes, my plate arrived; the french toast looked perfectly prepared, two sunnyside eggs and two pieces of ok bacon. The french toast was tasty, both light and flavorful. You get a side of butter and syrup. The eggs were ok as well as the bacon. It's enough for a light eater and good thing my friend offered me one half of their hash browns. Customer service: courteous and prompt. Very nice Boulevard Cafe! Decor: nice, expansive and not boring.

This place has been around for a while and I've always enjoyed going here as they have so many items on their menu! This time, we got the Huevos Rancheros and the Greek Yogurt. The service was great as we got our food within 15 minutes. The Huevos Rancheros was enough for two of us to split and still feel full. The Greek Yogurt was a bit thick as it tasted like a mix of cottage cheese and sour cream rather than Greek Yogurt but the berries were fresh and the honey was a great addition to the dish. I would come back as I love the location and the wide variety of options!
