Ate here with a party of 6. They charged an additional 18% service fee without any notification of said fee prior to getting the bill. Not on the menu, no sign posted. Pretty sure that’s illegal. I almost tipped on top of this service fee since I didn’t know about it until I looked over the bill. Staff member said they include this fee for any party over 5. Food was very mediocre. Ordered jja-Jang-myeon, Jjampong, and original/soy garlic chicken. Service was pretty good though.

Kimchi fried rice...just ok.
Popcorn chicken with cheese and honey sauce was a bit bland.
Casual food service.
Beautiful family owned hidden gem try the spicy wings it's a must
Could eat everything on the menu! Sauces are flavorful. Spices are up there but not too hot
As a Korean who grew up eating jjajangmyeon every week, this place is most authentic if you are craving jjajangmyoen or jjampong. Jjajangmyeon was not overly sweet, did taste just like the ones in Korea .
We also tried sweet and sour chicken ( 양념 통닭) and it was so amazing !!
I highly highly recommend this place for authentic Korean foods and if you want to bring back the nostalgic memories ..
This place gave me food poisoning!! I ordered the fresh jajang with pork and I’ve been throwing up since 2AM. On top of that it was slow service. The gal at the front was nice enough but I would not recommend this place ever.
Took orders from groups that were after us. Didn’t give us menus or side dishes when we were sat. Rice wasn’t cooked.
This place kind of blown up by IG and located at the Westlake Shopping Plaza in Daly City. It’s nice because it’s one of the places that are open late so it gets pretty busy. We came here on a Saturday night and there was a wait, usually a list on the door and there’s not really any space to wait inside but you can walk around the shops or wait in your car. We had to try their Korean fried chicken- we got the so garlic but I do wish we also tried their original. It was very saucy. We also go their Rose spicy rice cakes (tteokbokki) and added cheese. This meal was for 2 people and we got a bottle of soju. It was enough for two of us. Service was quick and the turnaround was quick inside too. Can’t wait to try more of their food in the future! Parking is easy because it’s in a shopping plaza.
We had garlic and soy wings!!
Delicious!! 10/ 10

My friends and I ate here on a breezy Monday evening at around 7:30PM. Upon arrival, we were immediately seated. The restaurant is quite tiny, but I like the simplicity of the interior. Props to their lively Enhypen playlist in the background. Shout out to the staff who is very likely an Engene (Enhypen stan). The staff provides a decent amount of banchan (Korean side dishes). We shared a large order of chicken, which can be split into two flavors.
We opted for the plain fried chicken and Honey & Cheese chicken. Our orders were ready within 15 minutes. Both flavors were crunchy, but the Honey & Cheese Chicken stood out in terms of its texture, the powdered cheese and the sweet honey sauce. I had to pair it with a bowl of rice because I can't eat chicken by itself. Don't expect too much on service: simply and kindly flag down the waiter/waitress on duty if you need anything from them.
Also note that every dish here is meant to be shared and not eaten individually. Otherwise, you'll be taking it to go. Please don't come here alone. It feels better to share your orders here. Bring your friends, family, loved ones and whoever you vibe with at Chick & Jajang!
Super nice staff! I came in with a really big group and they were very accommodating. They even let us have a birthday celebration there! The food was also great and came out fast
Yummy jjajangmyeon and yangnyeom chicken 🐔 They also have vegan gan jjajang as an option for vegetarians!
The jajangmyeon was delicious and the jjampong was okay, but the tangsuyuk was so bad that I couldn't find any meat in it. It felt like I was eating fried batter with sauce.
I appreciate the consistency for the amazing food this place produces every time I order. I am very thankful for this establishment!
