They act like they're doing you a favor to sell you some food. I won't be back.

It was really good. I had the roast beef with mash and gravy, along with a side salad — absolutely delicious. My only wish is that they served a bit more meat.

Old fashioned hofbrau and it's been there a long time. Food doesn't disappoint and you have to have the rice pudding.

Kind of a classic local place that has very familiar, simple food. Everyone is very nice and it's reasonably priced. I brought my mom here and she really liked it.

We would come here when we didn’t feel like cooking but wanted some meat. We would order: half a chicken with mash potato and corn with also a small container of rice pudding. (Sauce on the side) Honey have ordered the following depending on his mood: their Roast beef, their ribs, pastrami or turkey leg with mash potatoes and corn. I always liked on tender their chicken was and their rice pudding. That was my favorite.

The food is always great, even when we do takeout. Friendly staff. The restaurant is very dated in a nostalgic kind of way. The best rotisserie ribs ever! I tried hubby’s pastrami. Very tender and yummy. Always our go-to when in Daly City.
Best rotisserie chicken in Daly City. Ate there a lot as a kid. I always have to stop there whenever I visit family.
I love the spot it reminds me of Hoffman that used to be in the corner of B Street and Caltrain it was wonderful I used to go there every day for the turkey sandwich and the juice to dip in it the roast beef is amazing I recommend the plate and the sandwich very delicious they have a lot of side options and their whole roasted chickens are amazing you must get one they're big and juicy for $15
A very old traditional eatery. Ate there for several years. Great loyal staff , good inexpensive food, serene ambience with a very 60’s vibe. There is even a poster there from the movie ‘Lolita’. 😍
Delicious food!

Shame on you for charging $22 a pound for turkey the day before Thanksgiving that's price gouging 101.
Great bang for your buck from a San Francisco original! It had been years since I've gone, but it's just as good as I remember. Definitely recommended ??

Food was not good.
Was still hungry when I left. It was kind of disappointing. If you are dining in, grab a cafeteria tray on the side and tell the lady what you want. I ordered the pastrami dinner plate $17. There was more mash potatoes than pastrami. They should have called it a mash potatoes dinner with a side of pastrami instead. The food tasted fine. The pastrami wasn't overly salty and cooked properly. Usually it might dry out because it is on a heated tray. They do give you some au jus. Service was fine for a cafeteria type restaurant where you pay right after you order. The restaurant was empty at dinner time 6:30pm with some go-to orders. No wait.
$32.00, two whole chickens, two side dishes, two breads... more expensive and less foods!
