Horrible service
This place was supposed to open at 12 and at already 12:15 the doors were locked and there was not a single human being in the shop nor ice cream. I came specifically to the location as this is the only one around San Francisco. Huge disappointment!!!!
Just pulled up right now! You guys closed 30 minutes before closing time, what’s up with that! I just wanted a little ice cream but whatever yall suck!
The male server was horrible. He didn’t have tasting spoons, he didn’t have napkins. Annd when I tried to take my 3 year old toddler girl to the bathroom he said that the restroom Awww men’s only. Guess this spot is for men only. Oh and yes he took three minutes to get up from his chair to serve us. Busy on his phone I guess

Went there to get an ice cream (of course) for me and my son. First time I took him to a place like cold stone where he could choose his topping and all of that. He was super excited. When I got there, we had to wait a moment until someone show up to the front, the place was empty. When the lady got there I clearly stated to her that was my son’s first time as I was explaining to him how things work. Even though it was only us choosing at the time she was rushing us through it (my son is 5yo). She was so inpatient and unfriendly. I was hyping up the atmosphere because of my son, being positive and happy, after all, it was quite a nice day for him. As soon as we paid, the lady literally walked away to the back leaving just us in the front of the store. We sat there alone for a couple minutes, I felt uncomfortable and invited my son to eat the ice cream outside somewhere else.

Even though the ice cream shop closes at 10pm and not 11pm, the girls were very friendly and allowed me to pick up the cake I ordered. I caught them at 10:15

I ordered 2 smoothies, which is not cold at all! I asked for a cup of ice & she said they're out of ice. Why didn't she say that in the beginning & I can just go somewhere else.

This Coldstone is HORRIBLE! Bad customer service. Every time we go there after a movie they are absolutely RUDE. They are rude to everyone and not helpful. Coldstone DO NOT hire these young kids that have to respect or good customer service!
Today I was for one ice cream. I SAW the cashier grabbing cones and toppings with her hand craving cash. No wash her Hands No gloves. It was a disgusting and nasty...??

This place smells like feet and the ice cream is super melted. I’m shocked that this place hasn’t been shut down by a health inspector.
Edit: I had stomach issues the day after having ice cream here. Coincidence? Maybe.

First time trying out cold stone for ice cream. This location is conveniently located along a strip of food/drink places near the movie theatre and makes for a nice snack on a hot day.
The ice cream was presented nicely but was quite melted having just been served. The interior of the store had very sticky floors and had a stench of warm leftover ice cream in the trash can.
Not the greatest of atmosphere but service was friendly and courteous. I think they need to step up their cleanliness game and it would be a more enjoyable experience.

Still the worst Coldstone in the upper Peninsula. I’d exclusively go to Tanforan if it were closer. I’m loyal to the brand but the kids that work here are terrible. Sticky floors, workers on their cell phones while on the floor, actively ignoring customers: it’s why your tip jar is empty. Ps: I’ve worked client service for nearly 30 years and know what’s good and what horrible.

I have not been here in years. I feel like the last time I was here was maybe a few months or so after they first opened? I figured it would be a good idea to use the cold stone gift cards that I've been holding on to for a while now.
Honestly, I was surprised this place is still open, and so many people still go here. Once I thought about it, there's not a lot of ice cream places in the area.
The service was pretty fast. My ice creams were a lot more melted than I anticipated, but still good.

Sat-06/22/24 at 130pm. I came to this store to buy an ice cream cake and presented 2x $5.00 Cold Stone creamery gift certificates to pay for part of the purchase. The clerks stated that the owner will not take these gift certificates. I pointed out to them and to tell the owner that in CA, gift certificates do not expire and that this store sells gift certificates. Why would you sell gift certificates and not allow a customer to use them? The clerks were courteous and were texting/calling the owner. I asked for the owner's name to file a complaint. The clerk said the owner will not provide it. Given the situation, I was willing to pay for the cake with cash. The clerk said that the owner told her to refuse to provide service to me. I did not make a scene or raise my voice. It is CA law - The gift certificate law is California Civil Code Sections 1749.45-1749.6.
By not accepting my gift certificate, this store is not only breaking the law but is not complying with bylaws of the Cold Stone Creamery franchise. I would caution you when you visit this store to purchase their products or gift certificates.

Fix your hours. Drove all the way here…they’re not open past 9:30 PM on the weekends. Don’t waste your time!
