The worst customer service ever, all of them are really rude I hate that place
The hours posted on Google maps are a lie, they definitely don't open at 12.
Bad customer service. Need some training how to treat customers. It seems like she doesn’t like her job. 0 star!
Excellent service at Cold Stone! Yousif was very polite, helpful, and made sure everything was perfect. Great experience overall
Placed order at 1 pm, the store was closed. Didn’t get my refund ever. This place is a scam, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. Rude people
Worse cold stone I have ever ordered from today. Used the app to order. Thought it would be better then ordering through grubhub. They always mess up the order. This time I got so much attitude from the female worker in there. Terrible store! Don't come here. $50 bucks I should have spent elsewhere.
Yummy ice cream, but awful delivery experience. I ordered a birthday cake to be delivered to my address in SF, since it was only an additional $2. Unfortunately, my courier was given the wrong order (just a pint, not even a cake). Cold Stone called me to ask if I could call my courier to notify them, but their cell number was not available on my delivery tracking.
Because Cold Stone uses Grubhub for delivery, I tried to call Grubhub customer service, but they could not help me because Cold Stone initiated the order. Grubhub then told me to call Cold Stone.
So, now in a classic customer service loop, I tried to call Cold Stone again. Turned out, they can only make outbound calls, but they can’t receive inbound calls. I tried calling multiple times but the call always ended immediately.
I tried calling another Bay Area Cold Stone location to see if they could help me get in touch with the Daly City location, but they just said that their phone is broken and there is no other way to reach them.
When my courier showed up, I told him he had the wrong order. It would be a lot to ask him to go all the way back 25 minutes to pick up the order and then come all the way 25 minutes back. Bad timing, Daly City Cold Stone called me back while I was talking to the courier. I tried calling them back to no avail. They didn’t try calling again.
SO in the end, I went to the Daly City location personally to pick up my cake. I didn’t receive any compensation for the messed up order, so it ended up being worse and more stressful than if I had just planned to pick up the cake myself in the first place.
If you are thinking about getting delivery, I would recommend trying to go in person instead or accepting that you might have to go in person if you get the wrong order.
2 stars cause the cake was yummy.
Visited this Cold Stone location along Junipero — parking is around the corner, right beside Daly Buffet. If you're a customer, you don't need to pay for parking, which is convenient.
The store itself felt a bit cramped and outdated. The interior looked old, with minimal décor, and the lighting was noticeably dimmer compared to other Cold Stone locations we've been to. It wasn't crowded when we visited, which was nice, but the atmosphere felt a bit dull.
There were two female staff members working, and unfortunately, they weren't very friendly. No greetings or smiles — they took our order without much interaction, almost like robots. It felt like they just wanted to get through their shift.
Overall, it was an okay experience, but definitely not the most welcoming Cold Stone we've visited.
felt like i was bothering the employee she was just on her phone no other customers. i tried to be very polite and make my order quick so she can get back to being on her phone but she just seemed pissed off. asked for a cup togo and she lwk threw it at the counter very rude.
Came here because I had a feeling I wasn't the only one with a negative experience. The staff obviously dislike their jobs, so in return they punish you just by being there. I just left because the thought of giving them money just felt like I was doing more of a disservice to myself.

Terrible ice cream, employees with a mad face and 0 attitude with customers
worse employer i’ve ever experienced. doesn’t pay on time nor care about his employees. he cant even provide paystubs. he either pays us thru apple pay or we take cash. not professional. haven’t seen checks in months which also used to come late and sometimes bounces.
Why the employee was angry I don’t know but she needs better customer service skills ❌❌❌❌❌❌❌

We walked 15 minutes from our house just to try the new Going Bananas for JELL-O® Pudding but what a disappointment! It was our first time going to a Cold Stone Creamery.
I ordered chocolate ice cream with sprinkles for my kid and the Going Bananas for JELL-O® Pudding for me as it had great reviews. The server handed me a scoop of banana ice cream and reminded her of what I ordered. She looked confused and was probably thinking of what ingredients go into the ice cream. She told me they were out of vanilla wafers so if it’s ok if she just used vanilla oreos, to which I said ok. She mixed ONE piece of oreo into the banana ice cream and gave it to me after. I said, “Is this it?” since the picture had fresh bananas and something else on it. She looked again at the poster of the Going Bananas for JELL-O® Pudding and told me that she wasn’t sure what goes into it but she can put bananas on it. She went to get the bananas but it was overriped (brown peels close to being rotten already) and told me if it was ok if she used those. I declined since obviously she shouldn’t even have offered to use those. There was no whipped cream available so she handed me a banana ice cream with a single piece of mashed vanilla oreo.
So none of the ingredients of the Going Bananas for JELL-O® Pudding were available, the server didn’t know the recipe, I was offered rotten bananas, and to top it all off, they don’t have napkins. It’s an ice cream shop for God’s sake!
For the basic item priced at $7.49, just go to the nearest supermarket and buy your ice cream there. You’ll get a pint or more for this price without the disappointment. Also, the ice creams we had were overly sweet.
This Cold Stone location really needs better management. When I visited, the cooler didn't seem to be working properly—the ice cream was noticeably soft and runny. I started my order by saying the flavor I wanted, and before I could even mention mix-ins, the employee had already scooped it into a cup. When I added, “Oh, with [mix-in] and [mix-in], please,” they looked visibly annoyed. They didn’t have half the toppings I asked for, and the ones they did add were barely mixed in.
It felt rushed, unprofessional, and disappointing—especially for a place known for custom-mixed ice cream. Won’t be coming back to this location unless there are some major improvements.
