El Rincón de Jorgito is a must in San Francisco if you’re craving authentic Peruvian food. From the moment you walk in, the service is warm and welcoming—like you’re being hosted by family.

And the food… wow. The ceviche is absolutely magical—fresh, bright, perfectly balanced, and packed with flavor. The lomo saltado is to die for: tender, savory, and cooked just right. And the causa is amazingly delicious—creamy, flavorful, and the kind of dish you keep talking about after you leave.

Simple, honest, unforgettable Peruvian food with great portions and genuinely kind service. Highly recommend! 🇵🇪🔥

I'm Peruvian, and over the years I think I've probably hit up every Peruvian restaurant in the bay... They're never as good as what we make at home.

Except el Rincon, everything here is absolutely delicious. This is the best Peruvian place in the bay, by far. A+++

Wow, what an incredible dining experience! My friends and I went this weekend and were blown away by the food. We tried a variety of dishes from the menu and everything was so fresh and flavorful, it's clear they use high, quality ingredients. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome. If you're looking for authentic and delicious Peruvian food with excellent service, this is the place to go!

I went here with a group of friends after a class at Danzhaus. I am Peruvian so I am picky with my Peruvian restaurants. It was the best food and hole in the wall in SF. Our group got many plates and shared them and it worked well for us to be full. I highly recommend the lomo saltado (5/5 stars) , the seafood appetizers like ceviche, jalea, papa a la hauncaina.

In a word, AMAZING! I’ve been coming here since they opened and have had such a welcoming experience. The owner Jorge is very friendly, and the employees here work very hard and are always attentive. On Sundays they have live music during brunch hours and a DJ Fridays and Saturdays.

If you are looking for authentic Peruvian food, this is the restaurant. The food is always incredibly delicious! The lomo saltado is so tasty and juicy OMG 1000/10. The ceviche and maki is always super fresh and the drinks are always refreshing and flavorful.

My favorite Peruvian restaurant in the city, Doesn’t disappoint as always. Once you experience their food, you will be a regular 1000/10

Food here is so fresh and authentic. The ceviche is fantastic and the fried yuca is delightful. We also tried chicha morada and alfajores, both are not overwhelmingly sweet and are vey pleasant. Service is great and we will definitely come back.

We had a fantastic experience at this sweet restaurant last night. We were lucky to sit by the kitchen and could the dishes emerge one-by-one, looking so delicious. The menu is quite extensive and it was hard to make a choice from so many options. We chose the halibut ceviche- outstanding! A perfect balance of flavors. The chicken Saltado didn’t disappoint, with juicy morsels of chicken, perfectly cooked rice and delicately fried cassava. The Inca purple corn beverage (chicha morada) was also delicious! Looking to return to try more things on the menu.

Food is great! I tried the Lomo Saltado and it was delicious. Service is great as well. I even got a complimentary sopa de pollo for free. Recommended if you are in SF.

Good food, but a little expensive for what it is. The service is terrible and food arrived late and cold despite being one of two tables seated. No water refills, no checking on the table.
