First there of four couples ( kee weren't all together) and it took about an hour and fifteen minutes to get our three orders. I ordered the chicken breast mole; the breast was a flat processed piece of meat & dry. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Heard about this family owned Mexican restaurant so we decided to try for a lunch. The quaint family owned business is somewhat hidden just South of Second Street with parking adjacent to the building. It seat maybe 36 and had a bustling lunch business they day we ate there. It has a lunch "specials" daily and a fairly extensive menu. The Spanish was the best I have ever had, very light. Food was excellent and reasonably priced.

Excellent hostess who made us feel so welcome and made our first day in SF memorable. She had great tips on where to eat and what to do!!! The food was delicious, and her recommendations really helped. She made us a killer margarita ❤️ The taquitos were excellent and the chicken fajitas were sooooo filling. The deep-fried plantains were a great finish to an excellent meal!

Salsas and chips were quite tasty, so we were expecting good food. While the rice and guacamole were good, the rest of the food was ho-hum. Not a lot of flavor in the main dishes, except the pulled chicken chimichanga. Chicken fajitas, chicken tamales, and perdin asada (marinated and slow-cooked pork) were so-so. We may have hit them on an off night as there was retirement party taking up most of the restaurant and bar. Wait staff was friendly, but not very attentive. Again, the large party may have been taking everyone's attention.

Good service, great food, great drinks! Service quite slow and they mixed up our order a bit, brought us shrimp tacos instead of fish and brought us guacamole we didn't ask for & charged us for it but it was delicious so we didn't mind

I would not recommend this place to anybody! We had my nieces 13th bday party at Estradas which was a big mistake. The staff is very friendly but the owner (or woman who claims to be the owner) was drunk out of her mind! She was drinking behind the bar, tried to short change me when I bought a beer and yelled at me and threw my money at me when I brought it to her attention. The food is blah....
My favorite place for Mexican food, ever. Have been going there since I was a child. It's my entire families favorite place for Mexican food. Very friendly people as well.

We were here during a 60 person rush the other night. Even with that insane rush they set up an intimate table off to the side. We ended up preferring that table to what we would have had otherwise. It was an amazing night. The pitcher of Margaritas was a great call. Listen to their suggestions on what to order, they know their menu really well.
