What a shame. Been going here since the 80s, but the quality and flavor of the half-cooked skewers breaks my heart to see how this former giant in bbq has become merely a cautionary tale of taking clientele for granted.
CASH ONLY!! Are you kidding me, in this day and age a place that says no to all the potential business that would come from convenience oriented, or short on funds credit users.
Karipot!

Food is great, customer service is super. However, cash only service is somewhat inconvenient but not so much an issue compares to finding a parking.

MUST TRY!!! Despite long lines, I don’t mind waiting just to get a taste of their ube halaya (purple yam jam). They don’t always sell it on a daily basis, so make sure to grab some when you see it! 💜😋

An amazing hidden gem in Daly City. The prices are cheap for amazing quality of the food. We ordered a chicken and a pork skewer and lumpia. The lumpia was small and ok and the vinaigrette was a bit weak. But the chicken and pork skewers were just outstanding with great flavors AND tender!!! Each skewer was under $4 and big. There’s definitely a wait but the line does move fast. We waited about 20 minutes as everything is cooked to order. They have a system though the counter lady was a bit confused but it was worth the wait!! We’ll be back!! This is take out only with no tables and cash only!!!

One of the nastiest hole in the walls I've ever been to. But they have good skewers with healthy portions.
They keep to-go food in a weird cubby shelf and was serving lumpia out of a tray on top of the hand washing station. I can tell you for certain that place would never pass a health inspection lol I won't even talk about the dirt from top to bottom
This is the epitome of a Mom & Pop Greasy Spoon. This is not sit in dining where someone takes your order and offers you Voss water with cucumber slices. The food is off the hook. Get there early because the line can be long and they only take cash. I LOVE the pork sticks, for $3.75 you get the perfect ratio of seasoned sweet pork grilled to perfection. If you are having a party or family gathering then place your order early and they will accommodate you.
Bro!!!! Hands down, bbq Hella good! I travel over the bridge to come here for the BBQ pork. It's 3.75 a skewer, but well worth it. I bought 7 the last time I came. Haha
This is my go to location to order BBQ chicken and lumpia Shanghai for our Christmas potluck or parties. Always an instant hit. I love and I mean I absolutely love their BBQ chicken skewers. Very tasty and good. Their lumpia Shanghai is very good too.
Ordered 7 skewers. Said it was a 30 minute wait. Waited an hour and 20 minutes still didn’t get the 7 skewers. Workers kept saying 2 more. After an hour and 20 minutes got 5 cold skewers.

This use to be the spot. Good food, good price & friendly service. Food is OK, but service sucks. Very disorganized and at times servers seem to have an attitude.Would not recommend to my friends and colleagues.
Evertime I visit the Bay, I always make time to visit this lovely hole in the wall. It's authentic and the portions are generous. Please be aware that they "only accept cash" The skewers are delicious and the food always looks fresh.
I really enjoy the food here.

Food was okay. They say cash only but they charge tax which makes no sense because if that was the case, they should be okay accepting card(given as a business owner, you’ll save money by just cash - this place earns more to be okay with accepting carfs).
The customer service needs more work as they were not so attentive when we visited. I was gonna order bbq with menudo but they kept talking to each other.
Given we were the only customers waiting, they were chitchatting a lot that we waited longer than usual. I get that it can be slow when it’s demanding with many customers but as I said, we were the only ones waiting.
Parking is also challenging so park by other plazas nearby.
As much as I want to support Filipino businesses(being Filipino myself), there are far more better options in Daly City since it’s one of the most Filipino town in CA(Manila Bay in Serramonte, Karilagan in south sf, Tselogs, Isla, and there’s a plaza nearby FilAm cuisine where Jollibee/Red ribbon are located - there areso many filipino takeouts too!)
Not worth all the inconvenience!

This is along the best local Filipino eateries in the peninsula. Bring cash and plan to stand in line. It's worth the wait.
