MUST TRY!!! Despite long lines, I don’t mind waiting just to get a taste of their ube halaya (purple yam jam). They don’t always sell it on a daily basis, so make sure to grab some when you see it! 💜😋
An amazing hidden gem in Daly City. The prices are cheap for amazing quality of the food. We ordered a chicken and a pork skewer and lumpia. The lumpia was small and ok and the vinaigrette was a bit weak. But the chicken and pork skewers were just outstanding with great flavors AND tender!!! Each skewer was under $4 and big. There’s definitely a wait but the line does move fast. We waited about 20 minutes as everything is cooked to order. They have a system though the counter...
This is the epitome of a Mom & Pop Greasy Spoon. This is not sit in dining where someone takes your order and offers you Voss water with cucumber slices. The food is off the hook. Get there early because the line can be long and they only take cash. I LOVE the pork sticks, for $3.75 you get the perfect ratio of seasoned sweet pork grilled to perfection. If you are having a party or family gathering then place your order early and they will accommodate you.
