Good but not worth the long wait.
Have they fixed the points system?
Did they give you points back due to the fact that their app crashed?!
Boba is good but their customer service is mid.
The thieving of points makes this a bad business
Second visit to this shop. We came came here before on soft/grand opening. It was quite busy when we arrived. Many workers busy preparing the orders. You order from the touch screen kiosk. They only have one. I ordered Crisp grape bloom. It takes a while for our order to be ready. I think there is more efficient and effective way as I see may be about 5 or 6 workers preparing the orders but somehow I still feel it is slow. There are other boba shop which are busier but the order ready pretty quickly. The drink it sel is ok. Somehow this time they only add very small amount of grape chunck.
Worst app experience ever. Really hard to to place an order. Wouldn't let me upload my credit card information. I had to redo the order several times before walking out and not even trying the place. If you're gonna have an app make it work otherwise you lose customers. common sense
I'm forced to leave a reviews since I never got a response from customer service, and hopefully this review will get to the manager of this place.
the one on the picture is supposed to be a grapefruit boom, but guess what? it was all ice with just a tiny little bit of grapefruit at the bottom.
I had to continuously move the straw because since it was all ice, I couldn't even drink it smoothly; at the end I ended up not finishing it either because it was just ice.
This is very upsetting, Heytea used to be one of my favourite place for tea to go for, but lately their quality is been worse and the price of the drinks increased.
I hope my concern at least will be addressed to the right person, since from the app I left a review and asked to be contacted back, but it never happened
The drink was spilled and no napkins were provided this time, so I change to 2 stars
Matcha is my favorite, milk tea depends on what you like. Fruit drinks are great
1 star bc the lines here are crazy, they occasionally allow for order ahead but no idea how it works. I’d recommend going on a weekday before 3pm unless you got 30-90 mins to stand around
The online ordering is always closed for this location while all other stores are available to order online. Why do they want to have people order in store and stand in front of the store waiting?
Update: saw the online ordering system sometimes opens for a short period during weekday afternoon, then it’s shut down again for the rest of the day. Apparently the online ordering system is working but just being manually shut down. How hard is it to turn it on to save your customers time of waiting?? THE WORST LOCATION I’VE SEEN.
I used to LOVE this place. However, their online order has been shut down for over a MONTH and I still can’t order drinks! I didn’t realize that heytea points on the app expire after a certain period of time so all that money I spent on drinks just goes down the drain. I’m extremely disappointed. PLEASE fix this issue!
Let me just say, from the 1st day they opened, I was hooked with their Coconut Mango Boom. It is my legit favorite drink! Their employees have all been friendly. But the store and their app has some major issues. This particular location was shut down for a month for maintenance. Then, their app isn't even working. It's been like 2 months and it still doesn't work at all. I can't use my rewards because their app is down, so a bunch of my rewards have expired. So in order to use my rewards, I have to go to downtown SF or Cupertino where their app works. Who wants to do that! There's other closer boba shops I can visit instead. You seriously need to fix your app!

Customer service is awful . Waited 40+ mins for my drinks .Turned out one of them wasn’t available so my order on screen was left on pending . Guy claimed he called my number which I’m sure he did , but he couldn’t pronounce the numbers correctly . Complained and his answer to me was “it’s ready now” geez thanks for wasting time. I’d probably recommend you guys to mark the order as completed on the screen so I’m not waiting like a fool. I understood there was many orders before me so I waited patiently .
FIRST OF ALL: This five-star review is for the two managers, thank u for ur professionalism and for treating customers with respect. Without them, I would definitely give one star for what I experienced today.
I’ve been a loyal customer since this Hey Tea opened in Westlake. I always order the Mango Boom, and when they launched the Coconut Mango Blue, it became my go-to drink ever since.
Today, I ordered two Mango Blue drinks, but one of them looked so different in color compared to usual, the other one looked normal. When I asked about it, a staff member named Kelly told me there was “nothing wrong”, they had changed the recipe cause the color looked different than before. I then asked why the other cup looked just like the ones I usually get. She replied that the one I said looked normal was actually the wrong one. I told her that if that’s the case, I’d like the “wrong” one to be remade. Her attitude was dismissive throughout the whole conversation, and while my drink was being remade, I could clearly see her whispering and giggling with two other girls while glancing at me, which made me feel very uncomfortable and disrespected. Later, a female manager came over, and I explained what happened. She listened carefully and insisted on refunding my order, which I appreciated cuz I felt respected at that point.
After leaving Hey Tea, I gave the oddly colored drink to my bf (it was his order, his drink comes with boba and 0 calories sugar). He took one sip and said it tasted so strange. We went back to the store and had both managers try it; they confirmed that something was indeed off with that drink. They made a new one for me and said they take this situation seriously cuz every customer should be treated with respect and assured me they would address the issue with Kelly. So the 5 stars review for both managers.

Lovely place with amazing teas
Every single time I come to this HEYTEA location, there’s always some kind of problem.
The first time, the entire store system shut down — they couldn’t take any orders, and even though we had already paid, we couldn’t get our drinks. All they gave us was a free drink card as compensation.
The second time, I ordered the new drink for Halloween, but they told me it was sold out after I paid, so I had to change to something else.
The third time, the same thing happened again — I ordered a boba drink, only to be told they didn’t have boba.
It’s ridiculous how often this happens. This store never seems prepared, and the management is truly poor. They were temporarily closed before — honestly, I think they should just stay closed permanently.
(Edited: I forgot to mention — the second time I tried to order the Halloween drink, I placed my order right when the store opened at 11 a.m., but they still didn’t have it. I honestly don’t know what else to say. I appreciate the response from the store manager, but I will not go back to this location again.
