The Silvanas are amazing! (Yelp requires a minimum of eighty five characters, so here we are).

The desserts are always consistent and delicious. It's always a treat for us to stop here when we are in town. I miss having it closer to us in LA, but I'm glad it is far away because I will really be in trouble if it is still a quick drive like before to DTLA. The service is quick. The ambiance is a clean space for all orders to go.

The silvanas are a must try! So are the sans rival. Don't even attempt to make it yourself from scratch.Hands down the best in the Bay Area.

Known for their special Frozen Silvanas Cookie Treats. Best when eaten frozen. Best description, a light frozen cookie filled with a delicious creamy flavored center, surrounded by a crunchy cashew light layer of cookie shell. The Calamansi Squares were amazing, as well as their Ube cheese roll. I'm definitely going back to try their other specialties. The last time I ate these Silvanes desserts was in the Philippines. Never knew about this bakery until a client shared them at her home. My new go-to local Philippines bakery dessert shop specializes in Silvanas Cookie Treats!Surprised my family with an assortment shown in the photo. Was a definite hit!

Yummy Silvanas with different flavors, sansrival, Filipino pastries and sweets, bibingka, mango tarts, polvoron, ensymadas and etc.!

highly recommend the silvanas here for dessert (esp after eating at chibog). the original and ube were both amazing but slightly preferred the original.

Just stopped in for a quick snack while we waited for Chibog. I got the Original Silvanas and a cookies and cream Polvoron. I guess they are know for these frozen Silvanas treats. Essentially they are like frozen macaroons. If you like macaroons you will love these. I think they are good but not great. I loved the Polvoron. Yes it's chalky and dry but that's the idea. Nibble on it and you won't be sorry. A unique little spot. I can't imagine there are many places in the Bay Area that make these items.(4.1 Stars)

Perfectly sweet and crumbly dessert. These are frozen and close to having a little ice cream macaron sandwich. The cookies are super light and airy with a crunchy texture that just melts in your mouth.I wanted to eat this whole bag in a sitting because they tasted so yummy. My favorite flavors were mocha and ube.The shop is very small and may be hard to locate if you miss the plaza!

The original Silvana doesn’t disappoint! The cupcake was extra small and nothing better than a regular chocolate cupcake. Pricing is too high for what you get. Still worth a visit at least once.

My childhood bakery! I remember going to House of Silvanas when I was little in the Philippines. This is their only location in America and they're only open from Thurs-Sun. Silvanas are cashew merengue with buttercream in the middle. They have multiple flavors like original, ube, buko pandan, mocha, chocolate, and strawberry. It's sooo good! It melts in your mouth. They sell a box with 14pcs. It's a little pricy for $34 but it's so worth the try. I got 6 originals, and two of each--ube, buko pandan, chocolate, and mocha. My favorite is original, but the ube and buko pandan are good too.

I'm honestly confused as to how this place has such high reviews. It's not welcoming, the customer service is really low, there aren't any food products in the case, nor is there any signage to even indicate what they're selling. Basically, if you didn't know what a silvana was, you'd be SOL because the employee working there couldn't describe anything. When we asked her what brazo de mercedes was, all she said was uh.. do you want me to show it to you? I mean... we do eat with our eyes, but we would still like a better description. My sisters and I came in to try out their silvanas. I'm a pro yelper so I knew what to expect. They do NOT allow you to buy by piece. If you want to try their silvanas, you have to order by the box. One box is 14 pieces for $33, so yea, kinda pricey. The upside is you do have to keep these frozen, so if you don't have anyone to share with, at least you can keep it preserved for when you want to eat it. Silvanas are essentially a frozen cashew cookie, with a buttercream filling, and then coated in cookie powder. They sell an assortment of flavors: mango, strawberry, ube, buko pandan, original, mocha and chocolate. I got a few of each except the mocha and chocolate. Of all the flavors, I felt the ube and buko pandan was the best, but my sister liked the original. We heard a lot about sans rival cake too so we opted to get a mini size. The mini size is seriously mini. It's about the size of 1.5 hostess cupcakes stacked together. For $11... this is pretty pricey. I don't mind paying for a quality dessert, but we all agreed this cake was really bad. They had two flavors, original or toblerone. The employee said the original is the best. Well... if this is the best, I can't imagine how bad the other one is. Between 4 of us, we shared a quarter of the cake and that was enough (basically one bite each). It has a similar silvana texture inside but the outside was basically just butter. I know it's supposed to be a butter cream but it was soooo salty and the texture of the butter cream literally just like if you took a bite of a butter stick. It was completely off putting. So many people rave about sans rival cake, so I'm thinking it was just poor execution at this spot, versus the actual cake itself. I've had much more flavorful silvanas elsewhere, so this spot as a whole was disappointing from the products, to service, and everything else in between :(

Used to live near this place , the best silvanas in the bay area !!! Similar to a macaron but delicious and unique on its own !

Customer service very nice! Quality remains very good and consistent. Wish they have smaller size serving for the frozen "brazo" ensaymada so good that will bring back some memories from my childhood.
