MOD Pizza

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with the customer service at Mod Pizza. Not only was the staff rude and unhelpful, but I also spoke with the owner, hoping for some resolution, and was shocked by their complete lack of concern. It felt like my issue didn’t matter at all, and I left feeling dismissed and frustrated. If this is how they treat paying customers, I don’t see myself ever coming back. Customer service is everything, and they clearly don’t prioritize it.

Ordered pizzas to be delivered. Two of the pizzas were missing and one had the wrong toppings. The pizzas that were actually delivered were cold…

So for the first time last night I ordered a box of pizza at 7:30 p.m. via online. It was said that it will be ready around 7:56 p.m. so I went to the store to pick up my pizza at around 7:50 p.m. just to make sure that they did not missed my order. But unfortunately it was missed. The pizza was never started so now they have to start from the beginning of putting all the ingredients and all that stuff. So to make the story short, I got my pizza around 8: 30pm. That was late. They rushed and burned it. It was bitter. Bottom part of the dough was black burnt. -USAF Combat Veteran

I've been going to this place for years and unfortunately it's only worse every year, I always prefer to make a pizza to my taste and when at the end I say that they put cheese they put it as if they haven't continued at all, and my son likes pizza only with cheese, but they make it just a dough of a lot of sauce and a small handful of cheese, kamon guys I pay for unlimited and ask for a little more but they don't want to do it, I think the management scolds them for it and it's not good if you wrote without restrictions (as normal) be kind to do so

The App Mod Pizza is super user friendly and logic. 15 minutes later the Pizza was ready. Nice place and the tables get cleaned regularly. Pizza was delicious, but they forgot the anchovies and the dough doesn’t have much flavor. However I like the fact that they try to use only natural non-processed and fresh ingredients. Price $14.16 is okay. I like my personalized all toppings included MOD pizza better than the supreme pizza from Little Caesars (ingredients are lowest quality, full of chemicals and same price and no dine in possibility)

Had dough that was thin and brittle like "cracker". Edges were burnt!

Salad was promised at 12:45. Didn't get until 1pm.

It'a a good MOD Pizza location. Fast service and pretty good pizzas.

Has the experience of this place gone down? I haven’t been to this branch in about two years, but yesterday when I went, I was shocked by how poorly run the shop felt. There didn’t seem to be enough staff on hand to keep up with demand, resulting in a long queue. Many of the ingredients were empty and needed to be refilled. What remained of the chickpeas were still frozen and inedible. The roasted broccoli was left on the counter instead of in the refrigerated section. The floor behind the counter was a mess. And the pizza came out partially burnt after being left in the oven too long.

I still really enjoy Mod Pizza and especially appreciate that they have dairy free cheese now that I can’t have dairy. And all of the staff were friendly.

But I was disappointed in how slow the service was and how much cleanliness and food quality standards felt like they were lacking.

I normally love this place and have never had a problem… until this time. I placed an order for pick up over 30 mins in advance when the ASAP option is pick up in 17 mins. When I arrived after the pick up time, they started making the pizzas. 25 mins after my pick up time, my order was finally ready. I’m totally fine if they are busy and needed more time but they need to make the process more fluid and push the pick up times back if they cannot accommodate the order volume.

I had the worst experience. The staff were super slow. I ordered online for pick up in store. My order took one hour to get ready. Once it was ready, the lady put it aside in front of me despite asking her. Then I asked again and she said ‘sorry’ and gave it to me. As you see in the picture, the pizza was burnt and tasted bitter and awful.

I recently visited MOD Pizza in Daly City, and it was an outstanding experience! The concept of building your own pizza with unlimited toppings is genius, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the process. The ingredients were fresh, and the wide variety of toppings, sauces, and cheeses made it easy to create the perfect pizza just how I like it. The thin, crispy crust was cooked to perfection, and the quick service made it ideal for a casual lunch or dinner. I also appreciated the welcoming atmosphere and the clean, spacious dining area. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Awesome place for build your own customize pizzas ?!!! My kids loves it here! So happy to see proud filipino kababayan people working ? together! Staffs is attentive & always smiling ? super fast service & nice! I got the BYO pizza of ALL MEATS ? W/ ARTICHOKES! YUM ? will be coming back again! Safe & clean place!

Fat Asian guy ( shift manager) with the eyeglasses and bad attitude tried to give me a raw pizza. I'm not dumb, I can read your body language and upset glances towards the guy who prepared my pizza...I'm looking at my clock on the phone the whole time pizza went inside the oven for only 3 minutes and tried to give me a raw pizza. Nope, told him to put it in back in the oven for a few more minutes. Guy got upset but did as I told him. After 5 minutes now pizza is cooked. Don't play me just cus I drive for Uber , I'm not stupid. I work hard for my money risking my life on the road. Thank God I didn't tip. I'm going to find out who the manager is, this is B.S discrimination. If you got the money and patience, go to real pizzeria.
