My family loves going to Manila Oriental. Whenever I don't want to go in with them, I like going in here. The store is clean and always has freshly made pastries and goodies.
It has the standard staples like bbq pork buns, egg tarts, and sesame balls, to name a few. I like that it is a no frills bakery and it is reasonably priced. People who work here are nice and tell me about any other fresh seasonal items they have. You can't really ask for more, just be warned if you come later in the afternoon, most of the items might be sold out

It's a good place but unfortunately don't have any vegan option! For vegetarians has some options...

We’ve been biking up King Drive for the last several years and our reward has always been to stop at this bakery. In general, it’s just ok with most of the pastries but over time, and so far, the two best items are the Don tat (egg tarts) and the Don go (sponge cake). Both of these are excellent and the egg tart is almost as good as Golden gate. It’s only $2.20 for the egg tart and $1.80 for the sponge cake. The rest is just ok but it’s worth it for those two items!!

Purchased 6 baked BBQ pork buns and 6 baked chicken buns. They each cost $2.35Much to my disappointment BBQ pork bun was bland and had very little filling that had alot of fat chunks. The chicken bun was seasoned with too much pepper had a little more filling than the BBQ pork.Do not waste your money here.If you want a deliciously filled pork bun try going to San Francisco: Clement BBQ and Good Luck Dim Sum.

The sesame seed balls are thick and not much sweet red bean paste, but the taste is acceptable. The mango pudding is very sweet but the coconut pudding has the right amount of sugar…

I used go here all the time! I started going when I was in middle school, I think? I would always get their hotdog buns or normal buns, and man were they divine! Amazing atmosphere! I haven't been in a while but I need stop by again soon. I miss their hotdog buns!
