Off The Grid: Serramonte Center

Having a review like this one location is a bit misleading, it is more like a reoccuring event. Off the Grid is a collection of food trucks that show up at this location every Tuesday.If you want to see which trucks are there on certain days, double check their website as they have usually all trucks 3 weeks in advance.I would say it is worth checking out if you are interested. It was one thing I ended up trying out when the pandemic lockdowns started, and ended up being a location and event I look forward to on Tuesdays.As far as seating goes, not really that much, it is more designed at the moment to grab and go, although I have seen people collectively tailgate dining with their own chairs and such.My one gripe is that the "order ahead" option was removed from their app which is disappointing, especially for mall employees and those that need a quick option.

I have lived in Daly City most of my life and this is the first day I have gone to off the grid at serramonte. I got food at Southern Comfort Kitchen. I ordered the who dat chicken and the fried shrimp - both really tasty. I'd go back if in the area.

My experience has always been great here, although I wish they rotated in different trucks so it's not the same ones every week.

Love all the Asian food trucks but miss the Korean food trucks

I only come here for Da Poke Man

I usually only go for the hula truck because I love their tater tots or da situation.

I ran into Cielito Lindo by accident & I'm glad I did!So far, they have the best tacos de "Mole"! El mole es autentico y sabroso! You can taste that it's made & not from the can.They also have a bomb garlic shrimp tacos among other mouth watering traditional plates ( I haven't finished trying their list of food.Don't forget a side of churros!

Good food and glad they are among the food trucks still around serving the community. Keep up the good work and stay safe.

We loving going here. Last week it was safe with 6 foot markers on the floor. Not overly crowded perfect for social distancing.

My go-tos are Senor Sisig, Hula Truck, the Chairman and Capelo Barbecue.

Of course it can be a bit pricey but absolutely love this date night idea Tuesday nights! Tried quite a few different trucks there since they switch off every week and it’s fun that they’re changing it up and we get something different every time. The Peruvian food is my absolute favorite service is always welcoming and friendly!
