I visited here on Thurs 1/8 around 6:30 pm. The waiting time is quite long but I got an offer to sit by the window which is apart from the food belt. It might be a prime time, so the staff couldn’t take care of me as thoroughly as expected. I ordered food, but some items I requested didn’t come as ordered, which left me a bit dissatisfied in that aspect. However, overall the food was delicious, with a wide variety of sauce options. The seafood here is excellence. It’s so good for seafood lovers like me. I recommend making a reservation in advance to get a seat by the conveyor belt, as ordering through the staff can take quite some time due to delays.

If you’re willing to spurge a bit, get the waygu upgrade. It’s worth it for $10 more. Love the sauce bar, you can make your own concoction. My kid loves seeing the conveyer belt of sides and trying different items everytime. Sometimes I wish they were labeled but it makes it kind of fun. I guess if you had allergies you should be careful since they’re not labeled on the conveyer belt.

Great place for ACE Hotpot. We, 26 or us, came on a weekend after Christmas and boy was it busy. Food was great, big variety on the sauce station, so you make it how you like it. Great atmosphere. Definitely will return again.

My partner and I were craving hot pot. This place has been on our list for a while and decided to give it a try for date night. Parking is plentiful and free. We thought the wait was going to be long, something to be expected on a Saturday night, but was surprised when we received a text not even a minute after putting our names on the wait list. The table was not going to be on the conveyor line, which we were completely happy with because my partner got a really good view of the giant screen to watch the game. Everything all-around was great - food, service, and atmosphere. Our only critique was that the large beer claimed to be 30+ ounces but the glass it was served in was maybe 20 pinches (I used my water bottle to compare). Other than that, it was a pretty good meal and our server was great.

On December 12 around 7:00 PM at Seapot Daly City (Table A4), while I was seated after my meal, a young male waiter told me to leave because I had been there for over two hours, without any prior notice. He claimed this policy was written on the menu; however, if such an important restriction exists, it should be clearly communicated in advance or prominently posted in the restaurant—not hidden in small print and used to force customers out. What was most upsetting was the rude attitude and complete lack of apology. This was the first time I have experienced such treatment, and I have no intention of returning.
I loved the cozy ambiance and friendly service. The menu offered great variety and everything tasted incredible.

Tell me why my waitlist placement was first in line The fifth party in waitlist got seated before me The a party of two came with no waitlist and just asked to be seated and the waiter immediately took menus and bowls and plates and told them to follow him when the lady I had spoken with on the front desk was still saying to let me check if there's an open table? I arrived at 1:42 and waited ten minutes before asking for an update again. The two parties got seated within those ten minutes So my questions is, is the waitlist just a dummy and you guys don't check it or is this just targeting me? I'm not sure at this pint but I would love to get perspective from management

For my birthday a friend and I recently dined at Seapot in DC for Korean hot-pot on a wed early evening, and the experience was impressive. The quality of the food truly stood out; the food was fresh, the broth, I chose *Thai pot* had a rich, deep savory and tangy flavor that was perfectly spiced. Every ingredient tasted high-quality and well prepared. The all you can eat food bar had a very yummy variety of salads, kimchees, egg rolls, sesame balls, fruits and sauces! Beyond the delicious food, the customer service was excellent. The staff were attentive, especially our server! He was friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience as he constantly ck'd to make sure we had everything we needed, I'm embarrassed to say I dont remember his name. It was my first time there and the menu was a step-by-step that was slightly overwhelming and our server was so helpful and patient. All of his recommendations were spot-on. He made us feel very welcome throughout the meal. The establishment was clean and well kept from the dining utensils to the restroom. Also we waited less than 5 min to be seated for the 2 of us and our food was served in no time! It's rare to find a place that excels in cuisine hospitality, cleanliness and reasonable prices, but this restaurant managed it perfectly. I will definitely be returning soon to enjoy another wonderful meal. Thank you Seapot staff for a exceptional experience 👏 🙌 👍 🙏 ❤️ 👌
