They have 2 young male cashiers that always have really bad attitude

One of my go to weekly location to get pastries for mom. She loves their baked pork buns, and I like the cream coconut bun, or their cocktail bun. Sometimes, I would buy their shredded pork bun. During birthdays or special occasions, I also would buy their cakes like the tiramisu, mocha cake or their fruit tarts. Their cakes are not too sweet at all nor have too much whipped cream unlike other pastries locations.

Was at this bakery and accidentally lined up in the wrong spot. A staff member told me to move to the correct line, which I did. No problem. But the guy behind me, who also lined up in the wrong place, didn’t get told anything — and they went ahead and served him at the register while I was still waiting in the proper line.

I couldn’t help but notice he was white and I’m not. Maybe that wasn’t the reason, but the difference in how we were treated didn’t sit right with me. I ended up walking out without buying anything. Just felt like I was treated unfairly.

Sheng Kee has a lot of locations throughout the bay. Their buns are OK and tend to run on the smaller side. I do like how they open early at 7am and have warm pastries. Today I got ham & egg bun $2.75, Vietnamese sandwich $5.85, bbq pork flick $2.55 and 2x chicken pie $2.25. They were OK, not great. The worst was their version of a "Vietnamese" sandwich.

I went to order a boba tea and for some reason the worker (a shorter asian woman with black hair) kept talking to me as if I didn't know what I was ordering and was talking to me like I was stupid, which seemed to be simply because I'm a Latina woman.
She kept questioning everything I was trying to order, and then tried to get me to go to starbucks instead which would literally cost me an extra 4 dollars for the same drink.
Overall she was just rude and came off very racist, and the experience with her just ruined my day.

The old lady behind the register is very rude. My disabled parents took a seat at the table while waiting for me to complete a purchase. The lady yelled at them in Cantonese which they dont understand. Then she went out at me saying that they just cleaned up the table and dont want any one to sit. She was extremly rude and i really regret making a purchase here. I would never ever come back to this place again until she is gone.

I thought it was very unsanitary and unprofessional to see cashier #1 braiding cashiers -#2 hair while she was helping other customers at the cash register. Cashier number one, then put gloves on without washing her hands to help serve the customers.

Definitely Im not going back here, women with short hair elderly women(Viki), yelling at my 3 year old son saying “ line is over there! “ while he was just checking out some stuff near cashier area . I even called sheng kee headquarters customer service for complaint, you know what i find out? She is a supervisor(Viki)! Well.. good luck sheng kee bakery #11 feature is so bright!

The chicken pot pie, is amazing! It's flaky, warm, with good taste. Their other pastries are also very good, but the pot pie steals the show!

Pretty good bakery, nice savory treats to go for roughly $3/piece. The curry beef horns have good flavour, go well with a hot sauce

The woman cashier with short and whitish hair was VERY RUDE. After picking breads, I went to the counter and checked for chicken pie and BBQ pork pie. She was helping another customer, so I waited. I was about to ask her and she tersely said the line is not here, so I moved and waited in line. A lady already waiting in the line generously said I can go first. Grateful, I stepped forward and then was scolded by the rude cashier for supposedly cutting the line. She made me feel uncomfortable and frustrated.
The other two cashiers were helpful and kind, and they made apologies to me, which I appreciated. Nevertheless, the manager should provide more training to the rude cashier to ensure better customer service.
We shop at different bakeries weekly. Sheng Kee is not our favorite one but it's just close to our house and we love their chicken pies. My husband and I were here last week and were told they didn't have chicken pie, so I went to check again today. It was an unpleasant experience and I don't think I'll be back.
