Conveniently located across from 99 Ranch Market, this bakery always has the freshest selection of baked goods. The service is fast and it is easy to grab, pay and go. Small walking space, but it is not much of an issue.

This bakery is my go to. I love their stuff. The buns, cakes, and service. We order traditional Chinese cake from them for special occasions and are always happy. This is my goto bakery. Westlake one is great as well but this one is my favorite. Cause it is closer to me. No real seating at this one but for picking up and carrying out. It is number one. Westlake has drinks and seats if you would prefer that.

We were visiting California with the in-laws and our airbnb was close by. We knew we needed a solid snack for the road trip down the coast and came here to pick up some. It is bigger than most Asian bakeries I have seen with many choices. We bought the pork bun, taro bun and the custard bun. Simple to last a few hours without refrigeration. They were pretty good. This bakery has many options and it suited our needs for the time.

Great service! Lots of good choices chinese/Hong Kong style pastries like egg tarts, special buns and different kinds of cakes that don't taste over sweet like regular bakeries. Ver reasonable price. Very friendly and respectful customer service. If possible, call ahead to reserve items for pickup. Their popular items can run out very fast during early afternoon hours.

Breads not so good, too dry even have raisins in it, like old dry thin n light weighted breads .... Ingredients not there to make breads moist?
AVOID , DISGUSTING business practiceWe're a long term customer. The only reason we bought birthday cake from this place is because my wife likes their french chestnut , so I ordered one and pick up last night. When we open up the cake, we notice the grapes' color is so bad, seems like it's been sitting for over a week(we didn't eat the fruits), that night , we all had diarrhea, throw up all night including my 3 year old daughter. This is not the way to do business. Selling non selling not fresh cake to customer to make them sick is absolutely disgusting. Even we like this particular cake, we'll never buy anything from you again. Just look at the fruit on the photo. It is at least sitting in the frig for a week to have this kind of color

Sheng Kee is in a great location and also placed in a pretty smart area because every time I go to Ranch 99 and walk by the entrance, I would be tempted to stop by this bakery first to get some bread. I always get their sausage bun with cheese, their pineapple buns, and Swiss rolls. Also their white bread is very soft and better than most bread that you'd get at a lot of stores and are great for making sandwiches.

My family and I had been to this bakery many times. I tend to forget to check in and write a review for this bakery. For Father's Day, my wife bought a 8 inch green tea red bean cake for me. We can actually taste the green tea. There were even green tea powder on top of the cake. They were definitely not cheap with the amount of the green tea power that they put in the cake. The red beans were cooked to perfection. They were whole and soft. It's tasted great eating my first slice. However, when I went for seconds, it was too rich. The Happy Father's Day sign was too big and heavy that it couldn't stand on it's own. I had to put the sign into the cake.
