The lady server is VERY rude. I gave 15% tip regardless but she’s not deserving it. Constantly being rude, dismissive and yells at us. Regret coming in for lunch. I love tasty pot though so I’ll still go to other locations in the future.

No one even said hello, we got ignored completely, they just stand there and assume you will know to use QR code to order online. Zero star, we walked out.

I was really disappointed with this hot
I was really disappointed with this hot pot restaurant. The food did not taste fresh and the broth was very bland. Several dishes had a strange smell and the overall quality was far below my expectations. The service was slow and the staff didn’t seem very attentive. For the price they charge, the experience was definitely not worth it. I will not be coming back and do not recommend this place.

definitely not what it used to be. Atmosphere was dead and food tasted so substandard that I didn’t even finish my meal even tho I usually never leave food on the table(so that shows you how it tasted to me) . I’ve been here a lot of time in previous years but I probably will not be coming back.

Love this Asian hot pot restaurant! There are many choices, and two can share a song hit pot. I don't like having to use a QR menu, but once ordered, it comes fast! This is my new place to eat at Westlake Shopping Center

I’m allergic to shrimp and asked if they can substitute it with something else, the waitress was rude and impatient, saying they only do ingredients swapping for takeout not dine in.
So I have 2 options: order takeout and drive 30 back to eat this or be allergic and die here.

Please train your staff so they know basic hospitality.

I used to love Tasty Pot — especially the old Richmond location — so it felt nostalgic coming back for a comforting hot pot night. The setup still hits that cozy vibe: steaming broth bubbling over a tray, piled with sliced beef, tofu skin, lotus root, and a bit of everything from corn to tomato.

Unfortunately, the flavor doesn’t fully match the memory. The ingredients feel a bit pre-cooked, and the meat was just okay — edible, but nothing that makes you pause mid-bite. The soup, though, still carries that savory depth Tasty Pot is known for, and it’s definitely the highlight of the meal.

Also hate the paper bowls.

The space itself is showing its age — could use a little refresh — but for a quick solo or casual date hot pot, it still scratches that itch. Not the Tasty Pot I once loved, but I’ll always have a soft spot for it.

This used to be one of my favorite personal hotpot spots, but unfortunately, the quality has gone downhill over the years. I ordered the extra spicy broth and was surprised to find it barely mild, definitely not what I expected. My parents also had trouble using the mobile ordering system, and instead of offering assistance, the waiter simply walked away. Disappointing service and underwhelming food. Not sure I’ll be returning anytime soon.

Tasty Pot is a solid choice, earning a 4-star rating! The dish, served as a hearty individual soup with a small flame keeping it warm underneath each pot, offers a unique twist. Packed with tender beef, fresh cilantro, and a variety of veggies like cabbage and zucchini, the rich broth is complemented by tasty additions like fish balls, tofu, and fried dough. The modern setting with quick scan-and-order service adds convenience, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. A great option for a personalized, flavorful meal, though it could use a slight edge to hit that perfect score!

You can't go wrong with Tasty Pot. Hot pot is always a great choice! My dad really likes Tasty Pot, and I've started to enjoy it too. I want to make him happy since he works hard. The hot pots have a lot of food, so don't underestimate the portion size. It's a very filling meal.

Just finished a great lunch and I realized that I love Tasty Pot :). What I like most and that goes for all great chain or franchise restaurants are their dishes never wavers and always taste consistently good. Their hot soups are so flavorful.

They were quick to sit us down so we thought it was going to be decent. But little did we know that the quick seating was going to be the best thing tonight. When we got our food, everything seemed to be going fine until the pot started burning. We n thought it was just the steam coming from the hotpot and when we told them all they did was just put out the flame and would not give us a new one so we couldn’t cook our add-ons. Not only that, but the food was incredibly bland.
