Everything about this place is incredible! Thrilled it’s in our family rotation. My daughter and my mother both love the menu, and my husband’s so happy how easy and tasty the food is. Great for all!
Low key diner with diner style food
Very slow service and high price.
Little gem that we stumbled upon on our way to see a movie after a long hike. We had an incredibly satisfying brunch. Also got a pupusa that was so tasty. I kinda wanted to order more for the road, but I know pupusas are good hot.
Always love their breakfasts
Very good diner which serves breakfast all day long. We went around 45 minutes before closing on a Sunday, still received very good service and food

Food was horrible first off I got cold instant potatoes. The server was nice to get me more. Overall the food had no flavor and my salmon was very dry. Had to add lot of pepper salt and hot sauce

This is hands-down one of thee best diners you’re gonna find anywhere in the entire bay area. The owner serves you with a smile and great conversation. Their menu is robust serving breakfast lunch and dinner. If you’re lucky to be served by her daughter, she is an absolute dynamo, with a terrific smile, and makes you feel you’re eating at a Michelin star restaurant.
If you’re in the market for good food at an affordable price that’s also family friendly, stop by Westlake coffee shop in Daly city. If nothing else you’ll walk away feeling that you’ve been fed well by a wonderful family who’s warmth and kindness will improve your day and you’ll enjoy the peacefulness that this wonderful little restaurant offers.
Vegetarian options: You can find something. Trust me.
Parking: Garage is next door
Kid-friendliness: It’s a family owned business. They get it.
Wheelchair accessibility: On the ground floor with handicap parking next door

If I could give negative stars on this place, I would. I don’t usually write reviews, but I want to warn people against going to this place. Toaster waffles out of the freezer that were neither toasted nor warm, dehydrated, hashbrowns, and inedible eggs. Terrible food. I should’ve known better when we were the only people there.

Ok I'm a little old and I remember when the coffee shop was in Westlake mall. The waitresses were older grandmas and had on like a white waitress uniform. I've been wanting to go to the new place for a while and just have not made it. It is still a classic coffee shop, service is quick and the food is good. I had scrambled eggs and links. I'll bring my 85 year old dad back. The place was very neet. While conversational I just feel something was missing it may be on my part. If you go you will enjoy it. Sit at the counter and talk to the waitress about soccer.

Feel bad since it seems understaffed. Orders were wrong across the board, took a long time and the food is mid for the price. Hashbrowns were good. Much better diner options around

We love this place! Our family eats here a few times every month. The food is delicious, and the customer service is wonderful. We love the familiar diner food, and we also love the made-to-order Pupusas! My husband's favorite is the Monte Cristo, I love the No. 1 Club Sandwich, my 2 older daughters love the shakes, burgers, and chicken strips. We usually do a side order of thick cut bacon for our toddler, and she gobbles all of them up! This place is a hidden gem! There is a lot of free parking nearby.
Parking: Plenty of parking!
Kid-friendliness: They love kids, and the food is delicious the kids will eat it up!
Wheelchair accessibility: Street level entrance.
