Dim sum is served between 10:30am to latest 3pm so when we got there late on a Saturday afternoon, we were only able to enjoy the leftovers they had -- which is still a good amount. Check out all my pictures to see what we ordered. Everything was basically the standard dim sums you would get at any place. They didn't have any unique dishes. I will say that dim sum prices have skyrocketed everywhere! Shrimp dumplings are now $8 for 4 -- holy cow... If you're looking for a standard place to eat some of your favorite dim sums, you might wanna try this place out. Service was quite friendly. We did have to wait quite awhile coming at an unusual time of the day. Bill total was $105 for 11 dishes. Most dim sum plates are $7. Tea is $2.5 per person. Ambiance is your standard Chinese dim sum place, in a medium size room which I assume can get really loud when crowded. They have their own tiny plaza parking lot which probably also gets crowded during busy times but I'm sure you can find residential parking. Oh and my favorite dish was their sui mai, which was a big surprise because I usually don't like this at other places. Theirs was big, plump, juicy, and stuffed with good amount of shrimp. I would skip the lotus wrapped sticky rice which was $8 for 2 -- pretty plain and expensive. Another skip was the extra kitchen dish of beef short ribs for $16.95 -- while tasty, it had too many bones that I was not a fan of chewing around, and not worth the price.

Taste is good and price is reasonable for a set. I don't go too far now. My canteen for dinner when I don't feel like cooking Fanny

We ordered the Lobster noodles which is the priciest that we thought would be good . Dissatisfied with taste and it only had plenty of noodles and little pieces of lobster shells with hardly any meat. Had to take it to go and I recooked it. Don't ever order this overpriced dish that is not worth a penny!!

The 6 dim sum dishes that we ordered were good except for the baked BBQ buns as the picture on the order form showed they were supposed to be the traditional baked BBQ pork buns but somehow when they came there was a pineapple crust on top of them. We asked the waiter who explained that they just started putting the pineapple crust onto the BBQ pork buns, which in our opinion made them too sweet and ruined how the baked BBQ pork buns should taste like. The service was very good as everyone including the waiters, waitresses, and dim sum servers were very pleasant and polite.

I would come here every few weeks but they never got my order right. I stopped coming for a month or two and decided to come back today. Right when we were seated i told the waiter i was ready to order. He tells me to wait. 10 minutes go by, he takes order for the table behind me and another table behind them. 20 minutes has gone by at this point. I stand up to go to the desk so they can take my order and the waiter rushes over and tells me they can take my order now. They tell me to walk back to my table and the waiter has disappeared once again. At this point i just get up and walk out. The service here sucks, they take forever and the waiters are rude. They are over priced. I prefer THE CANTON restaurant in daly city.

Came here for my Aunties comfort meal after her service. The place is a dim sum spot but had its own party room detached from the main restaurant. The room holds around eight 10 seat banquet tables. The space is utilitarian with pretty much zero ambience. On the other hand the food and service was well done. We were served 13 courses very quickly and all of the food was delicious. If you're looking to host a no frills banquet style meal this is a good spot.

New restaurant. It took over the space that Fung Wong was in on Gellert, Daly City. The door was moved from the side of the building to right in the front facing the parking lot. The restaurant is very bright and open. Plenty of tables. They have 1 big screen tv, not sure if they'll be playing the Super Bowl but there may be a chance. Workers seem very friendly. I ordered dim-sum to go. It was quite a long wait. It was estimated 25 minutes but it's been long over that time. And even when I finally got my order, went home, was ready to finally enjoy my food, I realized that they had forgotten my siu mai x2! I called back, the lady questioned whether I ordered it and if I paid for it and they didn't even give me a receipt but she was able to look it up and see that I did. My husband had to rush back there to pick it up. I'm not even sure how they would have refunded me if we couldn't make it back. Anyways, dimsum was good. Everything looked and tasted just as we would hope. Only thing that threw me off was the baked pork buns. It had a crust on top of it. It was flakey and a bit messy when biting into it. Different for sure but still good. The siu mai were huge. I'm glad that I realized they were missing. The shrimp dumplings were big as well. Good amount of filling in all the items. Overall, I will be back. My eyes were hungrier that my belly. Even though we did finish it all, I will definitely have to hold back a little. It adds up quick.

LOVE this place! In my neighborhood. They deliver. Used to be Fung Wong. Mr. Ong the manager is super nice and clicked with my 90 year old mom. If mom is happy, we all are happy. Dim Sum is really good. We ordered dishes off the menu and very good as well. All kinds of noodles. Large menu. We always seem to order our usual. Walnut prawns, fried calamari, sweet and sour fish, wor won ton soup to name a few. When our whole family gathers for a celebration, we come here. I think we must order 40-59 dim sum plates. Serious!! Go and give them a try. Especially if you're in the area. Close to Serramonte shopping center.

Another great lunch in the back private room for about 7 tables. We enjoyed the roasted pig with crispy skin for appetizers. The meat was very tender and not fatty at all. We had a lot of dishes. A real Standout was the beef with pumpkin or squash. Both were flavorful and cooked perfectly. There was also some fried pork pieces with sautéed onions and bell peppers. Very tasty. Even the steamed chicken (bacchi Giai) was tender with the ginger sauce. We also had some salmon sashimi! My favorite dish. The new year dish - jai - had a lot of fungus and corn and noodles. It was great to have this dish since I don't get it often. The cellophane noodles were soft and savory. The gin doi or sesame balls for dessert was the perfect way to end a meal. My only gripe is that I wished they were warm! The jook or rice porridge had some shredded meat in it. It was seasoned perfectly as it did not need any soy sauce. Still a great lunch. I was not stuffed but just right.

I was lucky to be a guest in the banquet room (behind the restaurants). All dishes were excuted well, tender meats. The best was the roast duck with super crispy skin. The salt and pepper pork was also very crisp, and well balanced with the salt and MSG.

Update as of 02/03: This was my 6th visit here. To provide some context, the previous visits, it wasn't as busy and the service and food was great. This was the first time it's been busy and it took 27 minutes from when our order was placed to receiving the soup. Waiters didn't check in once to see if we needed anything. While good food is important, what makes or breaks my return business is the service....consistently good food and good service is a must. If the restaurant is busy...you will have to wait a long time for your food. It felt like since we were a party of two...we were deprioritized with no communication unless asked. After waiting 40 minutes there was still no food....so I cancelled the rest of order and we paid for the soup and decided to leave. What was impressive was that after about 50 minutes, as I stood up and was leaving, we were told our food was coming right out....my reply was "no...I don't want it anymore." I was a fan at first and was rooting for them...but now i don't recommend this place at all and I won't be back. It may be a part of growing pains but I wouldn't bother.
