Harpoon Henry's Seafood Restaurant

The hostess was very friendly and made us all feel welcome. We had reservations, and didn't. have to wait once all 5 of us were there. Valentina was our server. She was delightful and very conscientious about making sure we got everything we wanted with our orders. Two of us had the calamari (delicious and very tender). One had the Shrimp Louie salad (again very tasty and filling). The other two had a cup of clam chowder and the market salad. (I was a bit envious of the clam chowder. It smelled great, and I was told it was very creamy and filled with clams.). Several other servers assisted Valentina, and they were so attentive to each of our requests and needs. Overall, this was the best birthday celebration dinner for our friend.

This is a very pleasant place to have lunch with a great view over the marina and the ocean. The salads are good and the calamari is outstanding. They also do shrimp well. Construction of a new parking garage in the middle of the existing large parking lot is complicating access for a few more months but it is worth the effort to go.

Best Fish and Chips in Orange County! Sad that this classic restaurant is being forced to close.

Food was outstanding. I had salmon and my hubby had the filet mignon sliders. Friendly attentive service. And a great view of the harbor! What's not to like? Hope this restaurant returns in the renovated harbor.

We were a group of nine and were comfortably seated in two side-by-side booths. Server was outstanding and food delicious!!

Lovely experience. The hostess was welcoming and took us to a lovely table looking over the boats. Our waiter, Kade? was efficient, energetic, got all of our orders correct and timely and seemed to love his job. The food was great (we all ordered different items). My husband had the chowder and sliders, I had the walnut/cheese/cranberry salad with salmon and our friend had coconut shrimp. The coconut shrimp was some of the best ever (he shared). We will go back when we are in the neighborhood!

This place thinks it is so full of itself. They brought our drinks out in bottles, no frosted glasses. They sat us in a crappy little table with our 5th person hanging in the aisle. Harpoon Henry's has been a harbor staple for decades. Consistently good food, friendly people, great view. Large bar and lounge area... great for watching sports.

Beautiful restaurant and view, I liked my food (mahi-mahi macadamia) but the orange-mango sauce was too sweet to my taste. Clam chowder was very good, fish and chips were good as well but nothing extraordinary. The host was serious and not so friendly, waiter was also very serious but helpful.
