So glad we could have a last dinner there before it closes on 8/10/25 after 50 years! Got in right away. We had our rehersal dinner there before our wedding. My 60th birthday party was there. Celebrated my husband's birthday and our 37th wedding anniversary last night. So sorry to see it go!
Had a wondering happy hour and great time reminiscing about this local icon. They will be missed.
Great food, great mai tai! Clean, accommodating and enjoyable place. Love that there is a casual dinning room and more up scale one. Wonderful place for a bite to eat!
Great meal and sadly our final visit before they close. Amazing views and friendly service for many years. Thanks to everyone at Harpoon Henry's and best of luck!
Sorry to see Harpoon Henry's go - GREAT PLACE!
Best view of the harbor, as promised!! We loved the Hawaiian/beachy vibes and great seafood - so much fun and great location with a gorgeous sunset!
We love Harpoon Henry's! The fried shrimp were fresh. hot and delicious (although the fries could have been hotter) and the shrimp Louie salad was great. And there's nothing better than dining al fresco on the harbor on a lovely summer evening
This very nice restaurant unfortunately would shut down in August because they will build a new business in this area .
Great experience!
Everything was decent. Standard diner fare with seafood.

When we arrived at the restaurant I approached the hostess and gave her my name. I told her we had a reservation for a party of nine. She looked shocked and repeated “ A party of 9 ???? “ This was extremely disappointing to me. I expected ... hello Mrs. Ranta please follow me we have your table ready. Our server was excellent!!! She congratulated the bride and groom and gave all 9 of us excellent service. I brought a cake and she took it upon herself to place candles on the cake so the newlyweds could make a wish. The total of the bill was over $600.00 and we left her a $100.00 tip. Again I was expecting to be greeted as though I was expected since I had a reservation and it would have been nice if the manager had come over and introduced themselves and inquired if we needed anything. I'm believing the food was good ... I didn't hear anyone complain about their meal.
My rating is not necessarily for the restaurant's food but more because the communication from the app and restaurant is lacking. We arrived to find out the restaurant was closed, we ended up walking somewhere else to eat.
From the moment you enter the restaurant, you know you will have a good experience. The hostess was very attentive. We sat in a lovely booth overlooking the marina; the bar looked very nice. My party and I agreed that we should go back one day to that area. Our server, Malcom, was incredibly nice; his menu suggestions helped us order the right entrees, and we were all pleased with everything. The calamari appetizer was delicious!, We had beautifully made cocktails, and the fish entrees were superb.
The food was better than expected. Our favorite was the clam chowder and the coconut shrimp. The crab cakes were a.bit.mushy and could use a bit more flavor. Overall the food was very good and the service was decent. Ivan was a decent server. We were sorry to hea they are closing.
I hadn't been to Harpoon Henry's for quite some time. I brought some out of town guests and we were all pleasantly surprised. Had the Asian Pear Salad and the Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich. The salad was very large so we were glad we split it. Our server was great - attentive without being intrusive. Great view of the harbor!
