We absolutely love this neighborhood gem. Their specials rock flavors we love, and the chef is always coming up with something tasty. They are very accommodating. They aim to please. Servers Mario and Cruz and are top notch, and make every meal so enjoyable. My favorite (and there are so many here!) pick is almost always their fresh fish special. Last night I had the halibut with the sauce made up of blistered tomatoes, Greek olives, and tomato puree. Sooo delicious. Trying to calm down on the carbs and Mario was happy to offer me veggie alternatives of spinach and asparagus, then made a special effort to make it beautiful. I look forward to returning to that exact dish again! We just love Jack's.

The best thing about Jacks is the cloth tablecloth the low noise level and the ambience. On the less then perfect side. We found the wait staff less attentive than we would like. Jack's serves free bread with dinner, but last few times we have to ask them to get it. Happy Hour drinks were not allowed in the adjacent restaurant located in the same room as the bar. And getting a $8 fee on the bill because I reserved a spot through this app is annoying when I could have just called Jacks direct for a reservation. We had a good time at Jacks anyway!

Came here a couple nights before a wedding event.
We had a later reservation and upon entering we learned that technically the restaurant closes at that time, but since the system accepted our reservation they were staying open for us.
Not once did they rush us or make us feel bad. There were 10 of us and 2 little kids. They had all the patience in the world and infact were insistent for us to take our time and enjoy the amazing food.
The meal itself was very nice and I would highly recommend this spot for great Italian food. The restaurant is very big and the outdoor space is cute!

Jack's is one of our favorite restaurants. Super cute and comfortable location. The food and service is excellent! Our favorite is the lobster ravioli with a Ceasars salad. They ate very consistent and we know we will always have a good experience. It's not a chain and the owner often greets us as well as is in the kitchen cooking. It's the best but not sure i want to tell so many people or I might have to wait for my table next time!

We went for happy hour. The drinks were okay considering they were happy hour drinks. I asked the staff if the vodka came out of a plastic bottle lol but they did. It respond. All in all the staff was great. And the meatballs were good.

We recently had our first dinner at Jack’s . It has a really nice and friendly vibe. The staff is responsive and engaging, and seems to know everyone. The food is really good and flavorful. This is one of our new favorites in Dana Point.
In town for a wedding. The server was perfect , food was really good and true Italian. Loved how quant it was and well run. Very clean and most importantly they had table cloths . Cheers
