advertised price on menu apparently is cash price, extra charge if u use credit. Only restaurant I ever been to that has done that, shouldn’t they have to dictate that one menu.

Been coming here for so long, there's not many decent fish&chip places around and it's by the sea for a bonus. Portions are good, sides are spendy though and with a little extra effort, mushy peas would round it out. They have a trophy for best chowder on display and I dont doubt the award having eaten their chowder. At the time of writing (Jul '25) the whole area is in shutdown mode with the so slow renovation going on. Jon's was busy though and I watch with anticipation of the result, if I last that long.

Best thing is you can choose your fresh fish and size. And they will cook it fresh for you with your choices of spices. I chose monchong with cajun seasoning as they recommended and it was delicious 🤤. Also got fish and chips with was good.

Horrible service it took 35 minutes to get chips and salsa, never asked for amount of fish pieces in fish and chips and gave us the most expensive option without telling us. Do not go here the food was questionable at best and service was abysmal. Expect to be overcharged.

My best friend and been going to Jon’s Fish Market for over 25. It’s been one of our summer go to places but, I was highly disappointed with it today. My friend and I went with our Mom’s today. We got our regular, shrimp boats. Everything was great until I got my food. It had a black hair in it. Not my hair color.
So, I sent it back. I took over 20 minutes to get a replacement. Of course, everybody else had finished by the time I got my replacement but, I was shocked that the manager never came over to apologize for the hair and at least offer a free appetizer or something but, nothing. When we got the check, they made me pay full price! Shocked! 😮

Wonderful service. Delicious food. Fresh fish and waiter gave us “extras”. - samples of fried shrimp as well as smoked swordfish and salmon. He was honest about what was good on the menu and what was not his favorite. We all enjoyed everything we had. Great atmosphere as well! Sat outside under the tent. Seating was readily available and service was at just the right pace. Not rushed but showed up on que and also kept our water cups filled.
Good fish, okay chips. Plates are small but portions are big and stacked. The coleslaw can seep into fish/chip area and make food soggy - recommend asking for spare plate. Overall, it was a good experience. Some ocean view if you are sitting in the extended patio area, adding to the atmosphere.

Fish was good, fries were cold, missed part of the order, but took so long to get any service, drinks/food delivered, or anyone to come and check on us, we didnt bother to ask for the correction. Price was fine, but I’ll Choose somewhere else next time- I’d rather pay a little more and have better service.

Stopped here around 2pm on a Friday. It was not busy. Got seated right away and my order was taken fairly quickly but then waited for over 20 min for 2 fish tacos. The waiter NEVER came by again, except to deliver my food. I had to flag him down to pay. On top of that, the menu said the fish tacos were $7.20 and I got charged $8.20. I didn’t want to wait more to figure that out, so I just paid and left, but he did not get a tip.That’s way too much for one fish taco with nothing else. It was very good but I won’t be back. Bad service and overcharged. 🫤

After a majestic morning of dolphin watching where I made direct eye contact with a sea mammal who definitely judged my land based existence, I was spiritually and stomach-ally compelled to find the nearest fish and chip joint getting off the tour boat and I found Jon’s.
I left full, greasy, and at peace. Dolphins in the morning, deep-fried glory in the afternoon. 10/10 would abandon society and do it again.
