This has got to be some of the best poke in SoCal! Their fish is super fresh and the sauce doesn't mute the flavors of the fish. Everything is added carefully and you can choose any topping you want to add in making the meal very filling if you get a large! I left their ahi, salmon, octopus combo. It was so good!

Kawamata Seafood is that “locals only” hole-in-the-wall that everyone knows about, judging by the line that forms daily like it’s a pilgrimage. The tuna is fresh and excellent, though if you order a small bowl, you’ll wonder if you accidentally got the kid’s menu. The large, on the other hand, is basically a family-sized survival ration. For reasons known only to the universe, cucumbers aren’t an option, but white onions are unavoidable—because nothing says “refreshing poke” like biting into raw onion at noon. The line looks intimidating, but you’ll have your bowl in about ten minutes, which is faster than most coffee shops. Parking is limited, but there’s street parking if you’d rather not risk running over future customers.

Awesome poke bowl, best in south oc, get it to go, and chill out at the beach. Let the ocean fish know what happens to them if they mess with you

Very good fresh poke bowls. I got the tuna/salmon combo. I actually enjoyed grilled salmon cheeks for $4.50 the most of all.

If eating foodland poke on a boat off the north shore is a 10/10, then this place is a 9.5/10. I have eaten at 50 or more poke places in California and this is probably the most authentic that I've tried. For people complaining about the price idk what to tell you, you're in Dana point next to the ocean so... Anyways the only thing I think they could do is upgrade the patio furniture outside, it gets a lot of use and is mismatched and very worn so maybe make it a lil nicer. Great service nice people and fresh food, regular size was super filling and the line moved fast.
