La Barra is an excellent Mexican restaurant and bar right here in Dana Point. In the Albertsons shopping center. The food is fresh and full of flavor, and the service is always friendly and attentive. I've been coming here to get work done rather than being in my home office all day. Whether you’re coming in for dinner or just drinks, it’s a great spot to relax and enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine. Highly recommend!

Lupe's chain of Mexican eateries is a great place to stop by to have a quick bite. The food is prepared fresh and authentic. The Dana Point place was crowded when we reached, the crowd was however okay. The staff however was very nice and helpful. Everything we ordered was good but I have had better version of it. Be it spicy shrimp or Briaaa taco. Do not order combo, the rice and beans are just a couple of spoons each. The seating is of fast food and the prices are normal on the lower side. So looking for good fresh authentic Mexican food, go here. With kids and family, I won't recommend. BTW the quesadilla was a a surprise, the tortillas was very very close to Indian plain parantha

I had a fantastic experience on my first visit here. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The food arrived quickly and was delicious - flavorful and well-prepared. The restaurant was clean, from the tables to the restrooms, which I always appreciate. The atmosphere had a great cantina vibe, perfect for a casual outing. I found the prices to be very reasonable, both for the food and drinks, although I didn't have a drink this time. I'll definitely be returning to try the drinks next time. Highly recommend!

Not worth the prices. The drinks are very expensive for what you get. There are far better options in Dana point. I’ve been coming here since they opened and the food has only gotten worse and more expensive since then.
