We had such a great time coming here in March that we came again for my birthday this last weekend. All of the food is so fresh and tasted amazing! This is the first time in a long time that every one of us cleared our plates. Definitely will be back soon!

Luciana's is our favorite restaurant in Dana Point. Food is delicious, service is amazing & Marcus at the bar is the best!

Great food loved the lobster ravioli's, others enjoyed Osso Bucco and the Veal. Oh and the Lasgna is fabulous. We all tried a Tira Misu which was delicious.

It's always great and tonight was no different . The food , wine and service is second to none

$200 tab for two handfuls of pasta an appetizer and 3 glasses of wine. Great atmosphere, however if you are looking for good quality and powerful flavored tasting Italian food, do not come here. Went here for my wife's bday, lasagna tasted like it was microwaved, the clam pasta I ordered had about 4 bites and the 32 dollar charcuterie board looked like my little sister made it. Overall very very DECENT experience and that's me being nice, our server was absolutely fantastic, great guy and helped us with accommodations, however the food was just so average, and for that price it's NOT worth it whatsoever. Shout out to our server tho he is a g.

Wanted to try Luciana's for awhile, but was disappointed. Food was just okay, service was good but server tried too hard and had a "pasted on" smile. Sat on the patio which was nice but overall experience was lacking. Honestly, Limoncello in SJC or Il Sole in RSM are better Italian venues for food and ambience.

The restaurant was awful, it took 80 minutes to get our food, they put us out of a terrible side room that was completely detached from the real restaurant. It was cold, there were a bunch of drunk idiots shouting at a baseball game every 10 minutes and cursing up a storm. There was no sound proofing so everyone's voice echoed. The servers were nice but slow and it took almost 20 minutes just for the waiter to take the order. Once we got our food it was about what I would consider a kids portion for all of it. The pasta was luke warm and unimpressive in taste. The salad was pathetic, and the lettuce and spinach was the quality of fast food.
Not worth the price, wait, or taste

It's uncomfortably loud inside. Not a pleasant dining experience for those with acoustic sensitivity. I expect more, especially in a place with a $35 corkage fee

The food is good though

If I want to give a very brief comment about this restaurant, I must say that do not waste your time and money. From the moment you enter, you face a very bad and unfortunately rude behavior from the staff at the reception. When I spoke to the manager of the restaurant, I told him that the receptionist's behavior was not friendly, but they were not really polite. The quality and quantity of restaurant food was really awful. Very cold and stale bread. My lasagna tasted like dough, horrible tomato sauce and some cheese. The only positive thing about the restaurant's decor was that with the wrong arrangement of the tables, you can't communicate with the space.

I would avoid going here on hot/summer days. It was 85 degrees outside and it was cooler outside than it was at our table in the restaurant. I would expect a nice restaurant to have comfortable air conditioning.

Our party had a very enjoyable dining experience here. The food, service and ambience were all excellent. We all had the potato mushroom soup, each ordering a different entree and we agreed they were all delicious.
