Luxe Restaurant and World Famous Martini Bar

My wife and I enjoyed our anniversary at Luxe. The piano player, Terri Smit played a few songs just for us and we enjoyed a free desert. The lasagna and lobster bisque were excellent.

Overall, we were disappointed in the restaurant. First, this is primarily an Italian restaurant, and we were really surprised that they don't provide even a small basket of complimentary bread. I don't think I've ever been to an Italian restaurant that didn't provide bread. Next, we were celebrating our 12 year anniversary and had let them know when we made the reservation, and they mentioned they noticed that when we showed up, however, they never did anything for the anniversary. We thought they might bring a little complimentary desert but that didn't happen. Next, two or our people ordered the Clams with linquine, both of the dishes really didn't have enough clams, it was mostly pasta. But it was priced like a special seafood dish. It was really a rip-off. So probably wouldn't recommend this restaurant. I'm debating whether or not to put all this on Yelp.

This was our second visit to Luxe. Didn't think it could be better than the first, but it was. We had the beet salad, Luxe salad and shared the special swordfish stuffed with crab. OMG was that swordfish the best we've ever had. Perfectly prepared and delicious. Our server, Charlie, was excellent. Equal parts attentive and also left us alone to eat. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Luxe and will be back soon.

Ashley was out server and she was amazing and energetic and very knowledgeable about the menu, the hostess was also great and greeted us as we walked in and even came out to say good-bye as we left the building. Overall, it was a great experience, and we will definitely be back, and by the way we live about 50 miles away.

We love this place. We come every time we are in town. Kristi the entertainment was fantastic.

Have lived here 30 yrs first time here, very friendly staff and attentive. Food and selection very good. Great happy hour also. Look forward to coming back

Our server Alicsha was very attentive and informative. She had great recommendations and excellent service. Asparagus appetizer was delicious as well as the lasagna & surf & turf. Strawberry shortcake was the best have had. Lively atmosphere and entertaining live music.

I brought my 3 best friends from high school (we haven't been all together for over 25 years!) here for dinner & we were not disappointed! The hostess seated us in a booth in the back—close enough to enjoy the piano music, but far enough away to hear our conversation). Our server (Olympia or Olivia? Not sure) was extremely nice & attentive! She went above & beyond to move a table & glassware to take a picture of us & made our dining experience enjoyable. The food came out of the kitchen hot & everything was delicious! The lobster bisque? 10 out of 10. The lobster tail, steaks & salads were all fabulous!!!!! I'm just sorry that no one had room for dessert! This was one of the BEST dining experiences I've ever had & my friends were quite impressed.

This place is truly a gem! Great service! Great food! We had the frutta de mar and the sea bass appetizer with risotto and OMG, delicious. Good portions for the price! Would definitely return!

I hate to post such a low overall rating because our food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the food quality was very good. The problem was the extremely slow service and the fact that we ran out without eating most of our dinner. We arrived and were seated at 6:30pm for our reservation. We waited 10 minutes before anyone came to the table. When she did, our server Alicsha was very pleasant and was very happy that we were first timers. We brought 2 bottles for wine for 4 people and ordered 4 cocktails. Alicsha said she would put in the cocktail order and be right back to open the wine and bring wine glasses. We waited another 15 minutes with nothing; no water, no wine opened, and no cocktails. She finally returned 25 minutes after we were seated with our drinks, but no wine glasses. In the meantime, we opened our own wine as we had a 10 year old Cabaret that needed some time open. We told her we needed to put in our entire order as we were seeing a show and had to leave by 8:15 and asked for the check to be brought right away. We asked at that point that the corkage fee be waived due to the wait. We waited for our salads that came out reasonably quickly. At that time we were told it was “not possible” to waive the corkage fee. By the time our entrees arrived, we were scarfing them down and did not have time to finish, let alone enjoy them. We allowed 1 hour and 45 minutes for dinner and Luxe couldn't get it done. I don't blame our server, she clearly had too many tables to cover. There was not enough floor staff to flag down for water or to bring wine glasses. And the fact that Management decided not to offer ANY compensation for the terribly slow service was extremely short sighted. We spent well over $300 in one evening and would have returned again and again if we were treated fairly. But they chose to not waive a corkage fee, and lost our business and referrals.

Delicious meal with generous portions. The gentleman playing the guitar was good but because of the amplification system my wife and I had a difficult time conversing. Wait staff was very attentive and helpful. Overall, it was a very enjoyable dining experience.l

Love the food. We all had different things and couldn't be happier. The only negative for us, my parents and me is the music volume. Too loud in our opinion. Now we are old. But the food is always off the charts.
