Great place. Fresh fare. Every dish layered with flavor. Need more spots like this in the world.

We enjoyed this French cafe-themed sister resto of Giana's (Italian-themed), and are sad to hear (rumoured?) that it will be closing soon. Pictured: the Garden Hash breakfast bowl

Even though my partner and I were rushing to a wedding, we had to stop by and pay homage to Chef Danielle's Maison Cafe. The staff was very accommodating and we enjoyed our food. The food was beautifully presented, and the attention to detail is going to be truly missed... it's becoming more rare. And the beet cured salmon that gave it the perfect hue, very beautiful.

There was one incident with the tapenade where I bit into an olive pit. It was that hard where my tooth felt like it cracked. I told our server and the manager who came by to explain it was an uncooked farro, then gave us a sticky toffee bun-like pastry. Wasn't required of her, but appreciated her anyways for the gesture. The tapenade was really pretty though and unique being made from Castelvetrano olives.

Good luck to Chef Danielle on whatever she decides to do. Maison & Doheny are iconic and you've touched & inspired many. We wish you the best!

Great food. But service is terrible. I was done with my food for an hour and no one ever came up to ask if food was food or can I take ur plate. I should have stayed home and served myself.

Really unappealing food. Ricotta toast just inedible. Over loaded with jam and berries some gain thing partner had look so inedible I refused it. He ate none of it. This is just not a good choice.

We go here frequently. This sharp and sophisticated French inspired café is popular with locals and visitors alike. Food is always delicious. Service is friendly and attentive.

Also, the owner runs the cheese and wine shop next door as well as Giana Italian restaurant 1/10th of a mile away. All very good options.

Our server Max was amazing! Friendly and knowledgeable. Drinks were good. The duck confit was a bit bland. Croissant, Latte, and roasted vegetables were great!

Perfect spot for a brunch after a morning hike in the headlands. The space is adorned with charming paintings and feels both vibrant and cozy. The Dutch Baby was the best I’ve ever had: fluffy, almost cake-like but moist. The Chèvre tartine was wonderfully delicious too. Will definitely come back and try other items on the menu!
