Unfortunately I don’t think this is them having a bad night. This is the 3rd time this has happened where there is minimal/ very little fish. I order here a lot. This is the 3rd time this has happened. I will be taking a break from this restaurant. I hope they can get better with serving sizes. It was a good spot.

I have ordered sushi from here many times and it’s always the best. It can be hard to find sushi places that are consistent in quality and taste but Maki Yaki is always consistent in both! The staff is also very kind. I absolutely love this place and their food!

Excellent, thoughtful staff who heard my daughter and I talking about the miso soup and brought it out just the way she wanted it (only miso and tofu) even without us asking. Food was excellent. Bento servings very generous. Ran a forgotten item out to the car for us too.

Wonderfull service very atentive food was enjoyable. And service was very sweet kind helpfull and patient.

I don’t really live in the area but was craving some fish and this spot sounded real chill. Turns out it was more than chill, it was fantastic! Atmosphere was comfy and the man taking my order was nice. Food was 10/10 satisfied my craving for sure and would def come back again to eat if I come by here.

Good quality food with a lot of care put into it. We got a sushi and tempura bento box and the chicken teriyaki bowl. Everything was tasty and fresh. They were very sweet and accommodating of us with our young baby.

Kid-friendliness: We brought in our baby in a car seat and they made sure we were able to get comfortable at our table.

Small & mighty sushi place! I love that this place at times is quiet and not too busy. Perfect for a solo date ??

Great place great food owners r very nice very small sadly no bathroom MUST FILL UP UR OWN WATER PPL! THEY ARENT UR WAITERS/WAITRESS FILL IT UP
