Nick at Monarch was beyond amazing. Provided over the top service and took it personally to get us out because he knew we were slightly in a rush. I did not expect that at all, as this place is very busy. The place is beautiful and the food is amazing, this is our 6th time here.

Last week, my wife and I hosted a private dinner and family gathering at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach to celebrate our eloping and getting married at the Laguna Hills Courthouse. Our primary contact for everything was Antonia Saturday. Antonia was incredible! From our first meet-and-greet with Antonia to planning our dinners, rooms, and poolside cabana until we checked out, Antonia was excellent and ensured everything was handled. The hotel, dinners, rooms, staff--everything was incredible. We highly recommend anyone doing an event or something similar reach out to the Waldorf and Antonia.

At least twice a month, my family and I like to do the walking trail along salt creek and past the Monarch Beach golf course. The favorite part of our walk is when we can stop half way at the Monarch Cafe to grab lunch and some drinks. They have great drinks, food, and service. All the staff is super friendly.

It was a real treat to stay at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach. I came as part of a conference but this would work for a family vacation as well. Amazing views and location. Excellent food, service and rooms. I would definitely return and recommend to my friends!
We loved this resort. We recommend this place for a special occasion. The view was amazing and the staff were super friendly. The rooms are airy and large with nice balconies. We really enjoyed our time at the beach club on the sand.

Excellent experience all around. We received a Diamond upgrade to a newly renovated one room suite with a partial ocean view. Room was exquisitely clean and fresh. We were also able to receive an early check in and late check out. The resort is perfect in every way. Pool area is great for lounging, the beach club was a perfect way to spend a day at the beach and the property overall is stunning with beautiful views. Staff were all helpful, friendly and responsive. We look forward to returning!

This is my favorite place to stay in the world. I’ve stayed here countless times over the past 15 years and this stay again did not disappoint. Maria in Aveo remembered me from my previous stay in the spring. I feel safe and comfortable enough to vacation here solo. There is plenty to do between the spa, fitness center, beach walk, and pool. The pool has shorter hours now as a Waldorf but unless you plan a night swim it’s not an issue. The rooms are well kept and updated. Wonderful stay! I can’t wait to come home again!

Stayed here for 2 nights for an anniversary getaway. It did not disappoint! Check in was seamless and our anniversary was acknowledged several times during our stay. Shout out to AJ at the front desk! Every time we passed the front desk after check in, AJ made it a point to say hello by name to us! Gorgeous setting, extremely comfortable bed, immaculate room, carpet and upscale furniture. Nice restaurants on site. Only complaint would be the $70 a night valet parking charge that seems very excessive since there are no other parking options.

When you arrive on· the sprawling property, with luxurious and manicured grounds all which provide stunning vista views from any spot on the resort. The Monarch possesses the grand entrance filled with many richly decorated patios, club areas and members only areas. the room amenities are lush and luxurious with the newest technologies. The staff were amazing, attentive, helpful, polite, and most accommodating with requests. it’s is their staff that made my stay lovely and welcoming. You have so many amenities. That include E-bikes, pedal bikes, all the beach toys, with amazing helpful staff. Golf club with a challenging course, trolleys to and from the beach and valet service is speedy and professional. Beach volleyball set ups and Adirondack chairs around many fire pits provide atmosphere while watching the sunsets on its private beach The coffee shop was great. With simple coffee and drinks menus to available charcuterie boards, stags leap wine and pic nick baskets. Only place I didn’t try were the bourbon bites, which I was told by many staff and patrons was the best ever treat. The pool was a bit busy for my taste and bathroom needed more regular maintenance to keep with the rest of the hotel five star standard. It was not taken care of the day I was there. But it was super busy , so perhaps an hour later would have made a difference in my opinion. I will come back next your for sure as it was an amazing overall resort.
