I can’t say enough great things about this place! I do know I need to start off by praising ALLEY! She is the most kind, sincere and just adorable gal! Ask for her! Shes just fantastic! The view of the ocean, the butterflies, fresh air, all amazing - grab yourself a delicious sandwich or many other larger “snack type” meals, like hot dogs, tacos, salads, etc and a good boozy drink, then sit and enjoy the view! (As an aside, I always, without fail find a piece of grizzle in any chicken wrap, chicken salad, etc and not once have I here! Their chicken is either meticulously prepped and cut, or just great quality… I’m just saying haha perfect pieces everytime!) TELL ALLEY KARLA SAID HI!

Service awesome, beach side view stunning, food a bit wanting. Had a trio of nice fish tacos, tasty for sure, but nothing particularly special. My wife got sea bass and the rice and sides were lacking. The vibe of the beach club is great at night, with towering warmers spewing flames at each table, and the sound of waves crashing in the dark. High price is to be expected, wish the food had a bit more pizzazz.

Nick at Monarch was beyond amazing. Provided over the top service and took it personally to get us out because he knew we were slightly in a rush. I did not expect that at all, as this place is very busy. The place is beautiful and the food is amazing, this is our 6th time here.

We had a wonderful lunch at Monarch Bay Beach Club. The service was attentive and friendly, relaxing atmosphere with stunning views. The food was excellent. As hotel guests, we felt this was the perfect spot for brunch or lunch, ideal for soaking in the beautiful scenery and great weather.

Last week, my wife and I hosted a private dinner and family gathering at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach to celebrate our eloping and getting married at the Laguna Hills Courthouse. Our primary contact for everything was Antonia Saturday. Antonia was incredible! From our first meet-and-greet with Antonia to planning our dinners, rooms, and poolside cabana until we checked out, Antonia was excellent and ensured everything was handled. The hotel, dinners, rooms, staff--everything was incredible. We highly recommend anyone doing an event or something similar reach out to the Waldorf and Antonia.
At least twice a month, my family and I like to do the walking trail along salt creek and past the Monarch Beach golf course. The favorite part of our walk is when we can stop half way at the Monarch Cafe to grab lunch and some drinks. They have great drinks, food, and service. All the staff is super friendly.

This restaurant was fine but there are better options. The driver of the electric tram was cranky. Service was cheerful but inattentive. Indoors it was stuffy and hot. The food was fine but it’s only been a couple of weeks and I can’t remember anything anyone ate.
