We came to this place for some breakfast and were not disappointed. When we came in, there was no line, although while we were there, people were coming and coming. The food here is amazing, and we really liked the croissant and the croque madame. The service is quick, and the personnel is friendly.

This is a great place to stop on your way down Coast Highway. Parking is easy You can get any type of salad and drinks. They have wine and champagne so buy it here instead of at the hotels nearby. I really like the tuna salad.

I have been coming to this location for few month now and it seems the quality of the food and pastry has dropped. This past weekend I went there and ordered a marble cake. It was hard as a rock. I took it back and asked for another fresher slice. Overall it’s a cute place to dine or drink coffee but the quality has dropped. If I go back, is only for coffee. They also carry candies, wines etc it’s a small store/coffee shop/restaurant

Love the cakes and food from this little French bistro. The pastries are authentic and first class. However, lately, my favorite almond croissants have been dry (possibly day old) Fix that and you'll have the fifth star. What I don't love is aggressive tipping choices for just handing me an almond croissant.

After a 4 mile walk through beautiful Salt Creek Beach we thought we were deserving of a delicious pastry and coffee. Stopped by on a sunny but chilly MLK holiday Monday, all their pastries looked amazing they also have breakfast and delicious looking sandwiches. I settled for an Almond croissant and an iced latte while my BF chose an espresso and a plain croissant. Both were perfectly, flaky and oh so good. Service was great and you can park at Salt Creek Beach or the side streets and just walk over. Overall I would definitely recommend this place I look forward to coming back and trying their sandwiches and other pastries Seating is also available in their front patio area, come check them out!!

I have been to Moulin several times for the food and the convenience. The place is a walking distance from where we stay when in Dana Point. I tried several of their pastries - egg custard pie (i think that's what it's called), almond croissant, chocolate croissant, eclair and others. Also tried their sandwiches - chicken pesto sandwich, egg sandwich and ham & cheese which are all on baguettes. All the pastries & sandwiches I tried were great but pricey. I ordered 2 almond croissants, a chocolate croissant, a slice of the egg custard pie, ham & cheese sandwich and a chicken pesto sandwich. My total tab was $45+ without tip. When I go there to grab some croissants (chocolate & almond), my tab is usually around $18+. Much as I would like to eat their croissants every day, I only occasionally indulge not only for the calories but also the price. To get served one forms line and someone helps to take your order as you view the choices. It usually goes pretty fast. The shop has several tables and chairs outside and a couple inside. The setting is like a French sidewalk cafe / bakery. I would definitely recommend but don't over order or you'll be surprised when you pay your tab.

It gets very crowded at lunch time, so expect a line. High quality and fresh ingredients in their chicken pesto sandwich, which was pretty filling. This is probably the best classic chocolate croissant I've had in a long time. It's a bit on the pricey side but a great cafe, and I will definitely go back.

We had a delicious breakfast and everyone's food was great. The crepe complete had a crunchy cheese outer coating and was great. The omelets, fruit and yogurt and pastries were excellent. Service was friendly and prompt. We sat outside but it's right next to PCH so car noise and fumes were present. There is a small number of indoor tables. There's a small, free parking lot for customers.
