Proud Mary's Restaurant

Went for a recommended breakfast. Steak breakfast burrito was just hamburger. Potatoes undercooked. Eggs Benedict we're cold and hard boiled, house potatoes raw.
Service was quick, guessing food is precooked sitting on a counter in the back.
Maybe lunch/dinner is why this place is recommended? Not sure but I'll never return.

This place is our number one destination whenever we are visiting orange county, always good food excellent service and the views are free, even bought a tee shirt this time!

It was a romantic breakfast out on the patio with my husband while on vacation. Living here in Albuquerque we have several pubs that we frequent and enjoy. Not knowing where any are out in California we looked up proud Mary’s over in Dana point and was absolutely impressed with both the food, ambience and servers. It felt like home. It felt comfortable and felt like everyone was enjoying themselves and we were surrounded by good people just having a good time! We sat facing outward overlooking the harbor and had an excellent view to enjoy both our drinks and food absolutely worth it and we’ll go back every chance we can!

This place was cheap, and was on the bay which was perfect. The food was pretty good and was cooked to a perfection and they have a super cool wall with all these famous people that have been there. Only reason you get 4/5 they didn’t give a drink to my 12 year old brother untill he asked for it. She ignored it.

I’ve enjoyed the dinning experience at Proud Mary’s since leaving Vermont 7 years ago and moved back home. The restaurant is a find. Can service be a bit slow, it goes with being a popular restaurant. Is the wait worth it, yep. Oh, the view isn’t too shabby either. Looking forward to having lunch here next week on a visit to the Dana Point area.

Went for a lovely stroll along the harbor and ended up at Proud Mary's for breakfast. We were greeted by the owner who was doing his dog barking impersonating and he was quite good. Sounded like a small retriever. We were seated at a nice table for two. Valerie was our amazing server and was attentive and kind. The other helpers were all efficient and friendly as well. My wife had the vegetable omelet and I had the chili omelet. Both dishes were great. The coffee and OJ was good as well. This place is popular with an upbeat ambiance and terrific location.
Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful breakfast at Proud Mary's this morning. My wife and I both had omelets and they were hot and tasty. Sara was our server extraordinare and was friendly, kind and professional. The ambiance and view was quite nice and the bloody Mary's were fantastic.
Great breakfast spot and truly enjoyed our dining experience.

Beautiful bar and restaurant with great atmosphere, excellent food and service.

We had our wedding reception here! Beautiful time! Right off the water, great for any hour! They were very attentive, and kept our event running smoothly!!!! All around 10 out of 10!

Great lunch spot before you catch a ride over to Catalina

Lovely views of the marina, great staff and a great selection of items for breakfast ... what a great combination.
