It was a romantic breakfast out on the patio with my husband while on vacation. Living here in Albuquerque we have several pubs that we frequent and enjoy. Not knowing where any are out in California we looked up proud Mary’s over in Dana point and was absolutely impressed with both the food, ambience and servers. It felt like home. This place was cheap, and was on the bay which was perfect. The food was pretty good and was cooked to a perfection and they have a super cool wall with all these famous people that have been there. Only reason you get 4/5 they didn’t give a drink to my 12 year old brother untill he asked for it. She ignored it.
I’ve enjoyed the dinning experience at Proud Mary’s since leaving Vermont 7 years ago and moved back home. The restaurant is a find. Can service be a bit slow, it goes with being a popular restaurant. Is the wait worth it, yep. Oh, the view isn’t too shabby either. Looking forward to having lunch here next week on a visit to the Dana Point area.
