We came as a group of four for coffee and some pastry. The lady who took our order. She was kind of nice and she ask us if we want our coffee one the coffee mug and we said yes, and we didn’t know at the end we had to return the mug to the back Close to the kitchen area we never did this in the regular Restaurant to take the dishes back to the kitchen area. We were about to leave The Starbucks when one of the Lady named Zoe shouted at us hay you guys need to take your coffee mugs to the back of the store that’s our policy. She was very rude about it and I don’t appreciate it when you go to a restaurant or anywhere else and you pay and you tip that person and at the end you have to take the dishes back to the kitchen area that is not acceptable. This place should be closed because of this stupid policy.

Don't tip at this location.
The employees saw me at the counter but totally ignored me. They took care of the customer in front of me right away. I was still waiting to give my order when the customer in front of me walked out. No one else was in line. I have no idea what is going on with the employees at this location? What a waste of time to drive there, find a parking, walk thru the busy parking lot and not be able to buy a coffee. I won't be back to the Dana Point Golden Lantern location.
Get rid of the trophy employees who think everything is owed to them and bring people who want to work!
And here is Starbucks half ass generic response.
The afternoon crew on Sunday was absolutely horrible! The women taking our order was rude, she refused to make any substitutions and gave me attitude when I pushed back. The store is filthy, behind the counter was disgusting, the bathroom was filthy. The condition of the store matched the workers attitudes. 0 stars if it was possible.

Pollyanne is the inspiration of why I've gone here for over 15 years. She always welcomes me home.

I don’t like how big the workers are please bring a scale to your corporate office and weigh them. Anyone over 75 pounds can leave. L build fire them

The people that were working were not very friendly. They were rather short, I did not order anything I did not want to deal with the employees. Not pleasant as most Starbucks tend to be. Not returning to that Stsrbucks again.

Why at 6:00 a.m. does the music have to be loud enough to hear from Ralph’s parking lot? I stopped shopping at this site because the music is constantly blaring. I came in today because Peet’s was closed. It’s like Studio 54. Oh well. Back to Peet’s.
One of the slowest Starbucks chains. Totally mismanaged and low energy employees.Mobile orders of one simple coffee consistently take 45 min or longer. And with poor attitude.Starbucks regional managers, take action. I’ve moved on to our local coffee shop till you get this fixed.
Possibly the worst service in California; the worst attitude and the longest wait for an order that was ordered in advance in an empty store.
