I can understand why this place is top notch. The toppings on our pizzas were very good (i.e. Smoky Vodka). To me, it's the pizza bread that separates themselves to the others 🤤 Reservations highly recommended 😉

Well pretty underwhelming..not worth the hype at all. Their award winning champion cheese was the worst. Truly white was ordinary, have had better white pizzas in Amazon fresh. Spagnola salad was decent and the only thing I enjoyed

Absolutely cannot say enough good things about this place. Been meaning to write this review since Father’s Day when the original plans fell through we contacted truly and they got back to me right away getting us in. Then when we got there the manager (I want to say Glen?) was incredible. Probably nicest person I’ve ever met. He was always making sure we were happy and everything was going well. And to top it all off as if the day couldn’t get any better they comped our meal. I don’t go out to eat often but when I do it will be here. Hands down best spot in Dana point

I love a good pizza and had different pizzas all over the world in the last 50+ years (calamari pizza in Venice, Italy, Hawaiian in Hawaii, braccio di ferro (that's Popeye in Italy) in Milan, Italy, Margherita in Naples, clam pizza in Connecticut, other pizzas in Boston, Providence, New York...) and I was very impressed by the pizza offered by this place. Found it by accident when looking for a lunch on our way to San Diego. What a find, food excellent, service awesome (Trent was our server both times as we asked for him when we came back), the vibe very chill. So first the food: Pizzas were excellent. We ordered two on our initial visit (the Champion, and Classic Pepperoni) and two more on our way back to Los Angeles (the Champion again and the square Suprema) as we had to stop again due to the craving. All pizzas were excellent, the crust, the sauce the cheese and the toppings; fresh and delicious. I really can't recommend any individual one as all were excellent. Which one you order is your individual choice. We also split the Dana Point Wedge salad which was a perfect beginning with a delicate but still vibrantly tasty dressing and a nice addition of figs. I hope they expand to Arizona but in the mean time, looking forward to visiting again next time I am in California.

This is the best pizza I have ever had!!! I found out about Truly Pizza from the news when they were awarded as the 42nd best pizza in the world for 2025 and they deserve it as it is amazing. We got the garlic pull apart to start and for pizzas we got the Champion Cheese and a Crispy pepperoni these are both round thin crust. The cheese was a champion for sure. It has a thin crispy crust that was light and airy. The sauce had a perfect balance tending to the sweet side with no acidity from the tomatoes which was wonderful. The Crispy Pepperoni is made on their regular cheese pizza and had the small cupping pizza and had great flavor and balance also. The pizza was so good we got a momma mia (square thick crust to go). We will definitely return. They don't have any indoor seating but the two patios are very nicely designed (one downside and one upstairs) Reservations I'd say are a must as they are very popular due to all the press they got

We had the pleasure of dining here this past Friday. We were from DC staying at a local hotel in Dana Point. We were recommended to Truly from multiple people at the hotel we were staying at. This is a gem in Laguna. The attentiveness from management and the head chef - Chris, Greg, and Justin was outstanding. I ordinarily don’t write reviews, but the service, and quality of the pizza, salad, and dessert were superb. We are in OC multiple times a year, and this is going to be a regular stop for us.
Amazing. Been twice and convinced this is the best pizza in California. Both styles are perfection. Salads, apps also fantastic.

Truly Pizza was absolutely divine. The sandwich was one of the best Italian sandwiches I’ve ever had. The pizzas were incredible. And the ambience is amazing. Loved the staff too. Highly recommend!!!
