First visit, it’s a little expensive, but the size of the sandwich is good.
I had the 10” Tutor’s Special ($16.19), ham, capicolla, salami and prosciutto + fixings. Quality ingredients, good flavors, with plenty of sandwich left.
Comment on my wife’s sandwich, Teresa’s Touch ($16.35).
She said the turkey was “waterlogged” and the avocado “tasteless”. But she did enjoy the Pasta salad ($3.50 / 5 oz.)

My wife and I were on vacation in San Juan Capistrano for a week. We are from San Fernando which is just north of Los Angeles. My wife and I were driving and we noticed the sign THE BEST IN TOWN. We went on a hike and worked up an appetite and we decided to stop and get some food here before we went to the beach ⛱️. We ordered our food. They have a big variety to choose from. The bread on both of them just tasted old. It was soft and looked good but it just had that "been in the fridge too long taste".
