The staff is well-trained, and the food is excellent!
Love their food sources and their beverages!
We were originally planning to go to the area beside the outdoor seating for Outer Reef and have some wine and an appetizer, as we had a few weeks ago. That area is now taken over completely by the Outer Reef for reserved dining, so not available to us. The Vue is on the upper deck and still has a nice view of the ocean and you can hear any music that might be playing down below. We decided to have some crab cakes, which were just fine although really costly, and the grilled romaine salad with added salmon. The latter dish was distinctly sub-standard. The waitress did not return with the check so I could not tell her, so I just wrote on the payment slip that the salad was not good. The caesar dressing was thin and bland - any number of bottled dressings are far better. There was just a small piece of grilled romaine and it was limp. The rest of the chopped romaine was not fresh. The salmon was overcooked. NOT at all what I would have expected from an establishment that hosts the Outer Reef, which is an exceptional restaurant.
Service wasn't great, but I think the server was new. It was high priced and not very tasty. There was a great view though!
Nice placing outside and staff here were very friendly.
Breakfast was quick and delicious. The oatmeal was hot and filling. The parfait fruit cups were a nice touch. Came back for the zucchini bread and those super yummy cappuccino cupcakes!
This has been the best place on our trip. Been here twice. The service and views are amazing.
Our waiter was so nice and really working his butt off! I was so happy to see a vegan option on the menu, which was the vegan avocado tacos. They were very interesting and delicious, but a small portion. The outside seating here is really nice.
We stopped here for lunch on our drive home from San Diego. What an excellent decision. We dined out on the patio enjoying the views of the hotel grounds and nearby harbor. Our server was really friendly and efficient! The food was excellent! I enjoyed my fancy grilled cheese sandwich with tomato basil soup and my husband enjoyed his salad topped with chicken. These entrees paired perfectly with a glass of chardonnay from the selection of great wines. We were able to valet part and then enjoy a walk around the harbor without paying for additional harbor parking. The hotel looks lovely and would probably be a great place to stay.
I sent my friends to this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I visit this restaurant often. This recommendation is always successful. The the cooking is delicious and the crew is welcoming and cooperative. Every time we visit this place we pass a splendid evening. I recommend this place with pleasure.

This spot is fantastic! Good pricing, large portions and the staff are regularly friendly.
Decent/reasonably priced food. The service was fine not the best, not the worst. We had dinner in the upstairs portion of the restaurant.
Pleasure of having a drink. Wasn't there long enough to experience the food menu. Beautiful location unfortunately overpriced drink. Even for a hotel.
Terrible service and poor management management.
Very tasty food, with a full gluten free menu! Great views, definitely more than just a hotel restaurant
