Love this place. Great everyday happy hour. Mussels in a in a haunting curry sauce, wild boar sausage, yummy fish tacos, very nice charcuterie board. Best fish and chips around, octopus is terrific, sea bass is sublime. 10 oz filet mignon is perfect.

The food was very good. The service was great and it was not too loud so we could have conversation.

Such a friendly atmosphere. Great service and great food. Lobster soup is to die for. Tomahawk steak very juicy and tasty. I will be back to this place for sure!

We have been going to Whitstone for many years now, one of our favorite local places. The food is always good and the staff, management, are outstanding, friendly, attentive. Austin and Rafi, great bartenders, and the managere Maximo always greets us an makes sure everything is ok. I would highly recommend Whiteston.

An awesome experience with great times and great food!

The food was great. I believe the older gentleman was the owner, and he was very polite. He made recommendations and was there whenever we needed him. There was another male server who tried to make jokes every time he came to the table. Clearly, he couldn't read the room. Plus, he was rudely cleaning the table, making remarks about how some food crumbs spilled. Most likely, I won't go back, but I'm glad I gave it a chance.

The server was not paying attention to my table at all. We asked for a dessert menu, he brought the menu and left us hanging 10-15 mins without checking on us. He went to the bar and had a beer and chatting with his coworker. Also heard conflicts between servers, that was mood killing. The food was okay, not so special for the price we paid for.

The best restaurant in Dana Point!!! Incredible food, great staff. I have been to all the restaurants and I can unequivocally say this is far superior to the others!!! Come see for yourself. THE BEST!

Great spot for dinner. The meal was spectacular. Started with the calamari special. Tender pieces of calamari in a tomato based sauce with herbs and olives. Served with a piece of grilled bread that could have its own review. Splendid. Dinner was the short rib with mashed potatoes and veggies. Fall apart ribs in a well developed sauce. Sea bass with gnocchi was a highlight. They know how to sauce their plates. Service was on par with the food. Wine was on point. Go. Enjoy.

I happen to find this place by chance on PCH in Dana Point. ordered the sun kissed scallops and while waiting for my meal, the waiter threw a complementary loaf of bread on my table. Needless to say the meal was amazing but the bread is what made me take my wife back to try. Now anytime we are in Dana Point. We have to stop here! The cuisine is exceptional! Massimo and Austin, and all of the staff make you feel as if you’re at home without having to do the dishes. If you’re lucky enough to make it during happy hour, try the fish tacos! If you want an exceptional seafood meal in Dana Point, I highly recommend this place!
