Wind & Sea Restaurant

This is one of our favorite places. We love the fish and chips. And the view was spectacular as always.

Had window table looking at harbor and seals. Not busy so food was delivered fast. Great waiter Kayden was attentive and friendly. Hostess was great too. Fish and chips was plentiful (3 pieces), lots of fries and coleslaw. Blue cheese salad was also good. Will definitely come back.

Sydney was our most excellent server, making suggesting when asked, and our food and service was perfect! Oh, and dessert as well!

I was disappointed. I went in for my birthday celebration dinner ( we notified them when we scheduled on Open Table where we asked for a window view). The booth was nice but not next to the windows. I ordered the poké appetizer which I enjoyed. They never brought my husbands bread that he ordered for his appetizer. I ordered grilled swordfish and Brian ordered chicken. The plates looked identical except for the proteins. Made it feel like an old folks home dinner plate with half of both plates filled with basic rice and 7 spears of boiled asparagus.
We were never asked if we wanted more wine and no one ever even said Happy Birthday. Not exactly special.

The food, service and atmosphere was amazing! Our server gave us her personal recommendations and why they were known for certain entrees. She was fun and attentive. Highly recommend for any occasion!

My wife and I arrived a few minutes early for our Friday 6pm reservation and were greeted quickly and shown to our window table, where we had a fabulous view of the harbor and the setting sun. We shared an order of fresh ceviche and chips for our appetizer. For main courses, my wife had shrimp stuffed ono in a lobster cream sauce and I had the scallops. We finished with the mud pie. Everything was delicious and our server Ryan was excellent. A great dining experience.

We had a great experience at this restaurant! The service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. We bave been here several times and will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to everyone.

The food was very good and we had a table by the window with a great view. Honestly, the only thing I can say negative about this place is it it's a little bit dated. I think that they could really bump it up a notch if they got rid of the cafeteria type tables and maybe get some white table claws and just kind of romanticize the restaurant a little bit. Other than that, everything else was great and the Mai tai were really good.

My family and I had an absolutely fantastic experience at The Wind and Sea Restaurant. We went for my father’s 91st birthday. We were a large party of 10 on a busy afternoon and the staff was incredibly accommodating. The manager, Tyler, was especially helpful with my mom who has mobility issues in making sure she was seated comfortably and taken care of.
The food was truly amazing—each dish was perfectly prepared and delicious. I had the Salmon it was amazing. Our waitress, Beka, did an exceptional job of handling our big group with grace and efficiency. The service was top-notch from start to finish. We had such a great time and left feeling very impressed. The view of the water was beautiful. I highly recommend The Wind and Sea for anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience with incredible service. Thank you, Tyler and Beka, for making our evening so memorable!

The food was great but the bartender didn’t add a main ingredient of egg white to the cocktail New York sour.

Waitstaff and food are excellent, with a fantastic view of Dana Point and there is always something to see in the harbor. Brand new parking garage with 4 hours free. Very nice for a date or group.
