I really wanted to love this place, but it fell a bit short. The food was decent, but the service was slow, and it took forever to get our drinks. The beachside location is nice, though, so I might give it another try.

We’ve come here a few times. Great location, chill vibes, always plenty of seating (and if it’s full you can just picnic on the grass), awesome views…But the most recent time we’ve come by we’ve been very disappointed. The prices have increased (like they have everywhere) but the portion sizes have decreased significantly as well! You pay more and barely get any food which is ridiculous. I went to complain at the window and was told “nothing we can do”
Left a bad taste in my mouth.

Two tiny pieces of fried fish and barely any fries should not cost $19!

You used to be better. Do better.

I always receive great and friendly service when eating here. The menu variety is impressive and the food is delicious, fresh to order. I’ve enjoyed the shrimp tacos, fried chicken sandwich, chicken fingers, fish and chips.
Seating outdoors with great ocean view is always stellar.
So nice to have a great cafe with many food options when visiting the beach.

Great spot. Only thing I would say is that the line is usually 10-15 deep. It would be cool if they had a line for food and another line for drinks only. Waiting 20 minutes in line for a beer is not fun!

Make your coffee better or cut the price for it.
You can Compare it with capuchino from Urth Caffe - and you will see that your’s is a Joke 🤪

Stopped by Young's Beach Shack in Dana Point and it did not disappoint! The fish and chips were on point—crispy, fresh, and flavorful. I tried the poke bowl too, and it was super tasty. The kids had a burger and chicken tenders, and both got a thumbs up (which is saying something!). The beach view made it even better, perfect spot to enjoy a meal by the ocean. We'll definitely be coming back!

The breakfast burrito was 8/10, but the fruit bowl was amazing. The fruit was topped with whipped cream and coconut. Also couldn’t argue with the view of the beach and ocean
