“This place serves the best acai bowls in the world. Slightly better than ones I've had in Brazil and Hawaii, and easily the best in the Bay area. Worth the drive if you're not local. Don't sleep on the savory pastries either. They look a little plain in their unpretentious case they display them in there, but they are really tasty. The owner is there everytime I go and he is super friendly and informative about the ingredients and just seems like that old fashioned shop/restauranteur who enjoys his food, his business and his clients. The only problem I have with this place is the food is so good and filling, I always leave really full!“

“If your only complaint is the time to prep than take a hike. I’ve been going here for years and happily hand over my dollars because they have the bowls ready and delicious in ~30 mins. They clearly say it’s going to take this long. I’ve had açaí bowls in Monterrey CA, Topsail Island NC, Truckee CA and possibly others. Vitality Bowls is the only place I’ve found that absolutely nails it each time. There are SO many choices.. but I always get the same thing: Detox “Go Green” Bowl or the Green Bowl. The nutty bowl used to be good but has been different lately. The pitaya bowl is a beautiful pink color but is more of a refreshment than a mini meal. Anyway, please be patient and plan your order ahead of time.“

“I love açaí bowls. It’s the only place close to home that sell it. The food is awesome. If you are coming to this place prepare yourself, there’s no one at the door, they are always busy inside the kitchen. Also, bring your card, don’t make the same mistake as I did. Or order Doordash pick up.This is the second time that I go to this place. The first time I went, I did my order straight to the Kiosk, but at the end they don’t give you the option to pay with cash. So I had to re do it again. My suggestion is that the Kiosk has to have an option to do the order and then do the payment in cash with the cashier.“
