We order take-out pizza here almost every Friday night. The Pizza is the best “NY” style pizza you can get in the area. Anyone who says differently has never been to New York. Best pizza around. If you're looking for an authentic cheese pizza look no further. Other pizza joints will take thin crust too far, or burn the crust. Blackhawk hits the mark every time. Worth the drive.
I generally really like thick crust pizza so I ordered the thick option to go. Hm-m-m. I probably should have gone with the thin crust. While the toppings for the pizza were fresh and tasty, the crust was as thick as a loaf of french bread. If you like it this thick, you'll probably coo over the pizza. But I should have gone with the thin crust.
