Very yummy food. I split a few things with a friend and we both liked the Smashburger the best. I've been vegan for many years so I don't really remember what omnivore recipes taste like. My friend agreed that both the Smashburger and the chocolate chip cookie tasted like She would get them in an omnivore restaurant. The Caesar salad was good, but didn't taste “authentic”. The mushroom steak was also good, but not something I am dying to have again. I really want to try the crabcakes. Our cocktails were also great.
A cute small place in a cute small town. This is creative international plant based dining in an upscale cafe type setting. We have liked everything we have tried on the limited but diverse menu including drinks and desserts. Parking is plentiful on the street.
What a fantastic place. Delicious food. Be sure ti order the bread as soon ad you sit down. We had it with the herb butter. Yummy! I had the Thai tofu and noodles. It was fantastic! I can't wait to go back.
My husband and I are not vegan but went here with a vegan friend. We all loved every dish we tried, and we tried a lot! My vegan friend said it's the best vegan food she's ever had. The staff are attentive and friendly, the food comes out fast and hot and it's not too pricey. I would go back even without my vegan friend!
Excellent ambience! The cocktails were average at best. Food flavors were good though quite salty.
Really such a fun place to go with friends! Small, quaint, very laid back. Our servers were very, very nice. They treated us like family and like we've been coming there forever even though it was our first visit. Everything we tried was delicious and our table shared everything we ordered. As long as people go in prepared for a vegan experience, you will be delighted.
We tried three different dishes and the chocolate mousse, all delicious and satisfying
It’s all vegan and it’s all delicious. We can hear for brunch on Easter Sunday and it was perfect. We got a breakfast burrito, chilaquiles and their special, strawberry pancakes.
Everything was great. Dog friendly. They have heaters on the patio. Great staff so friendly! First time here and I will be back! The crab cakes were amazing! My favorite dish. The soup was so great too tied for favorite as well! The bread and herb butter was super tasty. I think the pasta was yummy and fresh. The desserts were great. Loved the cheesecake it’s not too sweet. The apple crisp on the other hand was very sweet but still yummy! Will be back!
I was here on Sunday. The first time I came it was good, the other two times it was not great. Not horrible, but for the prices its really not worth it. On Sunday I got tomato soup and buccatini pasta. The reason I got the pasta was because I had it the first time I went during spring. There was no sweetness to the pasta then and I specifically ordered it again due to the umaminess I remembered it having. For some reason it was sweet this time around. The soup was sickly sweet and strangely smooth. Also the last time I got the pasta it was a different shape. Now its spaghetti... their sourdough bread is a 10 out of 10 and so is the service but sadly I will not go back. Lunch menu seems a bit more exciting. Dinner menu is fairly limited and I think that might be part of the problem, that I had such limited options to choose from.

I looooooove this restaurant!!!!! The staff and atmosphere are top notch and the food is totally worth the price! The tomatoe soup and crab cake (mushroom) sandwich are so so sooo good I almost ordered another to go. I'm not a vegan but would 11/10 recommend this to anyone looking for a new restaurant to try out ?

Blossom and Root Kitchen is a nice vegetarian restaurant overall. We tried the soup (3/5), the vegetarian burger, and the tofu bowl (both 4/5). The food was good, but we felt a bit heavy afterward from the mix of tofu, beans, and other ingredients.
The staff was really friendly, though a bit disorganized. I think it would help if they explained the vegetarian options more, especially for people who aren't used to them—it was tough for us to choose. I also think they could add some lighter options like veggie patties or fries, but that’s up to the chef, and we respect that.
It’s a cool concept, and we hope they stick around and keep promoting vegetarian food, even if we weren’t completely wowed this time.
