WORST MEXICAN FOOD EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD

Chips and salsa were the only good part of the meal. I ordered a carne asada plate — a very common dish at any Mexican restaurant — and I was shocked at how bad it was. The beans had absolutely no flavor, the steak was oily, and it smelled strongly of propane or some kind of gas. The rice was just okay, and I didn’t even bother trying the grilled onions.

Right after eating, I felt sick. My stomach hurt, my body felt swollen, and I ended up throwing up. The next day I had severe diarrhea and felt awful all weekend. It was a terrible experience, and the smelly carne asada was definitely the cause.

I’ve had much better food at any regular taqueria. This place is all decoration and zero flavor. Really disappointed.

We went there specifically for the Sunday buffet. Unfortunately, we were notified when we got there that the buffet was on hold. If you were looking forward to that, please call ahead.

Food is excellent-we had the Carne Asada Bowl was amazing. Smoky flavor and super fresh charred corn, yam & avocado!

Friendly & helpful wait staff, very ample portions brought quickly. Good selection on menu and from the bar.

The service was excellent, and the food was plentiful and oh so delicious! I really enjoyed the steak bowl and the chicken taquito appetizer. Hazel was very professional and accommodating throughout our meal. We all appreciated her attentiveness and enthusiasm. It was a wonderful dining experience and we will definitely be back!

It's been a couple of years since my last visit. Took a group of 10 there for lunch today. It was definitely our lucky day as Juana was working today. She was awesome and definitely rates among one of the top 10 servers I have ever run across. Many many small things she did that showed her humanity and personality. The food too was excellent. Juana was the only server but she had all dishes out nearly together. The plating was excellent and there wasn't much leftover. Besides margaritas, people ordered tacos, enchiladas, chili rellenos, fajitas etc etc. The churros took some time to come out and then we realized why. They were made to order! Hot, fresh and delicious, especially with vanilla ice cream! Highly recommended!

I made my reservation by mistake; I thought it was a Greek Restaurant. Met an old friend for lunch as was skeptical at first. The server was charming and happily brought us chips and salsa and two Margaritas that were excellent. We ordered Taco & Salad special. Just enough for two geezers. We loved the entrees, chips and drinks. The lady that ran the place and served us was delightful. Can't wait to return.

Opentable Diner

Really delicious food - the guac looked basic but when you take a bite it's full of so much flavor. it was a bit pricey, but it is Danville so it's pretty similar to the restaurants around it.
