The seafood pasta was excellent. The sauce was quite tasty. The seafood was fresh including shrimp, mussels, and clams.Fat Maddie’s is located in the indoor/outdoor mall next to the Blackhawk Museum in Danville, CA. The restaurant is large, has an attractive bar, and a very pleasant outdoor patio with views of the pond, waterfalls, and geese. The patio is an excellent option for the warm days.The mall is attractive, but when I was there, Friday noon, there were only a few people in the mall; but Fat Maddie’s had about 10 tables with customers.The waiter was pleasant. There is plenty of free parking.

We have been going to this location for years and we have always had a good experience, until today. Admittedly we have not gone in some time, but that is no excuse for the drop in quality. We ordered take out today and the quality of the food has gone way down. We did not order from any third party, we ordered directly from the restaurant and picked it up ourselves. It was obvious that they have lessened the quality of all the ingredients, probably to cut the costs even though the prices have either stayed the same or increased. The chicken sandwiches were flavorless and dry, the risotto was undercooked, and our children’s menu items were completely wrong. We aren’t going to waste our money here again.

Great spot, fun atmosphere a few TVs and a decent sized bar. Also a large outdoor area with a nice view of the water.Food is great, the burgers are a good size and have great quality ingredients. Parking is plentiful, obviously depending on the shopping center traffic.

Fat Maddie's Blackhawk is a nice step up from the little Fat Maddie's near Danville Costco. They had a special menu along with breakfast. We are off the special menu and had a an avocado toast and blackened salmon tacos.Service was pleasant friendly and healthful. Fat Maddie's is adjacent to the pond. It was too cold for outside but the sunlight was adding a nice indoor ambiance.We recommend you give them a try.

We discovered this gem in Danville. The food was delicious with a beautiful presentation. Lovely atmosphere and great service. Our server was very attentive. We met the owner, Kelly. She helped us arrange our National Association of Clock and Watch Collectors Danville Chapter 107's Holiday luncheon in December. She could not have been more accommodating. She personally helped with the food selections and we are looking forward to seeing her again and our members enjoying this delicious food. The restaurant is located in the Blackjawk Mall. It has a lovely view of a large pond with ducks swimming by. I highly recommend this restaurant. Five Star food
