I booked a reservation for my wife's birthday October 5, 2022 7pm for which I received multiple email confirmations. I thought everything was good till we got there. There was no one home, there were no notices on door and you get voice mail when you call.

We are quite disappointed with Faz in Danville. We were entertaining some out of town guests, sat there for 45 minutes and still no one came to take our order. When we flagged down someone, she said she will be right back after serving two tables with their bills, she never came back to our table. We ended up going to the entry to the kitchen to have someone come over to our table. Entrees were fair, not as good as they used to be. The used dishes were not all collected from our table, no attempt to check if we wanted desserts or coffee after the entrees.

Arrived on time for reservation we had to wait to be seated. We chose to sit outdoor. While outdoors was beautiful, the staff didn't care to remove the pine needles from our table, on our chairs, or under the table cloth. Notice that the table beside us was waiting for their food for a while already. When they got their food it wasn't long before they asked for the food to be boxed. We didn't notice any servers only a busser. He was nice enough to serve us water and dipping oil for bread. The other table next to us was already clamoring waiting for service. I don't think they even think they got any dipping oil. We waited about 40 mins before we walked out of the restaurant. Cooking kebabs already takes a while but we weren't going to stay and wait. Maybe a bad night or short staff? It was a shame because the outdoor patio was beautiful. The only content patron we're the ones at the bar with drinks.

We had a fantastic dinner. Every single plate was well cooked, well seasoned. It was obvious to us that they care about their product.

I had high hopes for this place. Unfortunately, this place is very outdated. The service was very poor. The drinks were awful. They had a party in the back yard which was extremely loud and unpleasant. It was not what I told is going to be—not recommended.

We enjoyed the Jumbo Prawns as our appetizer, followed by Greek Salads and the Jujeh (chicken) Kabobs for the main entrees. They were all delicious. The service and ambiance was also great.

Fabulous atmosphere and a great place for a drink! LOVED the setting and the food was quite good. Unfortunately they appear to be understaffed and the service was poor. I will go back for a drink, but go elsewhere to eat.

We were here to celebrate our anniversary. Great dinner of lamb shanks for both of us. Delicious and tender. Perfect Greek salad to start. Generous pour on cocktails. One of our favorite places. Love it!

Possibly most expensive lunch I’ve ever paid for. Think we paid $170 when it was all said and done for 2 adults and a child for their Father’s Day buffet. Food was disappointing and it did not feel very sanitary - they only had 2 hand sanitizer vestibules and they were both empty. Saw this one employee munching on the buffet bare hands no utensils, plate anything (repeatedly… not sure why so hungry). I mean I don’t mind the guy eating food that would likely be wasted/thrown away but at least be sanitary/discreet about it. Do it in the back, on your break, with a plate like a civilized person and then wash your hands. First time I saw it he pulled his mask part way off his face and shoved what looked like a handful of noodles in to his mouth. Then put the mask back on and slurped the remaining length of the noodles in to his mouth in between the mask and his chin. Not the kind of behavior you typically see at an expensive restaurant. Other than the hungry guy and this other older gentleman the wait staff was great and they do a good job keeping the patio maintained. Way too expensive for what it is though. I’d come back for drinks maybe but that’s it.

Everything was delicious. I had the rack of lamb which was a good size serving, the meat was very tender, the little potatoes just right. We sat outside on the patio, Faz has by far one of the nicest outdoor seating space. The service was outstanding.

They were operating on a limited staff. The food was fine but we were one of two parties inside, which makes me think this restaurant is going downhill. I asked for a wine list midway through my meal but never got one to order a drink. Overall it was satisfactory, but nothing special, I'm sorry to say.

We were extremely disappointed because when I made the reservations we were not told it was a buffet that cost $65. The price was very expensive, and when we arrived there were no clients at the restaurant. I was confused that the management at the Faz would rather have an expensive menu and no clients rather than lowering the price and serving clients. We love the Faz, and we were very sad at the poor management decision. Also, since it was Father's Day all the restaurants were packed, which really inconvenienced us in getting a table at a different restaurant. I think next year, you should lower the price.

Go to Faz as soon as you can and enjoy the ambiance while it is still there. It is very disappointing that this location will be closing down later this year. It is such a beautiful setting, arguably the best in downtown Danville and apparently will become housing. Such a shame.

We love FAZ in downtown Danville, especially sitting outside in the beautiful courtyard. The food is always good- and service is normally wonderful. We attended the buffet (for Father's Day) and although it was pricy, if you are a salmon lover, or go to the carving station more than once, it's well worth it!
