Forbes Mill Steakhouse Reviews
As a person with celiac’s disease and other food allergies I appreciate that bread is only served if requested. I had the filet and it was great. The staff is knowledgeable about food allergies and cross contamination. We will be adding this restaurant to the small list of places that are allergy friendly in the bay area.
The service and food was outstanding! Celebrated my birthday yesterday and will be back soon!

Forbes Mill Steakhouse offers a delightful dining experience with exceptional food and a pleasant ambience, though it can be a little dark. The steaks are a highlight, with tender and flavorful options that melt in the mouth. The restaurant also excels in its drinks and variety of dishes, including the popular Ahi Tuna and short rib. While some dishes may have room for improvement, the overall quality is superb. The restaurant is a great choice for family celebrations and special occasions, with exceptional sides like mashed potatoes and cream spinach. The service at Forbes Mill Steakhouse has been mixed, with some customers reporting attentive service and others experiencing a lack of dedicated service; it can be more individual when not crowded. The Dry Aged New York steak has received mixed reviews, with one customer finding it a bit chewy, while others have enjoyed the flavorful options. Overall, the food at Forbes Mill Steakhouse is praised, with customers highlighting dishes like the Ahi Tuna, short rib, filet mignon, and scallops in a passion fruit beurre blanc sauce. The restaurant also offers delightful starters such as the strawberry spinach and goat cheese salad, and a delicious Kona coffee crème brûlée for dessert. Some customers have found it pricey, and on occasion, meat has been undercooked one level.
