I stop in every time I'm in the area!! Great sushi and the saki keeps coming :)
Love this spot! The fish is always fresh… and the tempura always crispy (even when takeout).
We came back last night as we enjoyed our dinner here twice before. But not this time: tuna sashimi was stringy & not fresh. Spider rolls were simple & not tasty, just the deep fried soft shell crab rolled in a mix salad & cucumber (no sauce at all). I have to ask for ginger. My grandson's tempura shrimps were soggy (not crispy like before).
Do you have new ownership/new chef?
I seldom write bad review for restaurant, but I must this time. Hope the owner reads this and improve! Total bill was $110.
Came here for my birthday last night and it’s now my new favorite place. If you order the
‘I don’t know’ The chef will create a personalized sushi roll just for you. It was honestly some of the best sushi I’ve ever had.

Wow. I have no idea how the reviews on this place are so positive. They really need to improve their service and quality of fish. The fish and even salad we had were not at all fresh. Not sure if they had someone call in sick or if they always run the staffing so lean, the place was nearly full and there was only one person making sushi and a single waitress. Stay away! There are much better places to eat on town, especially for the price.

Low key, family-run sushi spot out in the burbs. I usually get sashimi or one of the rolls. Now if you want to throw caution to the wind, get the roll called "I don't know". It's chef's choice, and it depends on the ingredients on hand that day. Sometimes it's great, sometimes less so. Regardless, the portion is always generous, and it's always a surprise.

Food is always pretty good, but service is in need of severe improvements. Reservation at 6:30 but I was not sat till nearly 7. Servers aren’t particularly nice but not egregious. Waited nearly twenty minutes to be even spoken to once upon entering the restaurant despite constant efforts to attract the attention and when I spoke directly to one the servers they waved me off without responding to me. It doesn’t matter how good the food is, if the serving staff treats you poorly. Or I suppose I should say the food at Kibo sushi is not worth the poor quality of service that you are going to receive.

We did not have the chance to eat, it was packed full, we were turned away either POS issues or it looked as not enough staff for to the sea of people to be served . Hopefully we'll have better luck at another time .

Yummy yummy sushi
Was looking for a lunch spot on a Saturday and stumbled across Kibo Sushi. We had a very positive experience. Food was very fresh, prepared well and tasted great. The portion sizes were also bigger than we anticipated. I definitely will go back.
Vegetarian options: There are a couple of vegetarian sushi rolls and soy paper is available for an upgrade
