I gave them 3 stars because normally they’re a 5….but this visit is a 1. We drive 70 miles and wait in long lines to come get their chocolate croissants and pain suisse, often. Yesterday I picked up 2 chocolate croissants and 4 pain suisse and every single one of them was dry and not buttery at all. In fact they were the worst croissants I’ve ever had. I’ve purchased many and have had them a day or two after and they’ve always been excellent. I ate these the same day...

Hands down the best croissant I’ve had in ages - impossibly flaky layers, buttery perfection in every bite. The canelé was caramelized and custardy inside, and the baguette? Crisp, chewy, and full of flavor - was not ‘rock hard’ like other places.
Truly worth going out of your way for!

Since its opening I have visited this place weekly. I have been very disappointed with the decline of the service and quality of almond croissants. Hot drinks are served cold and even after complaining no resolution is offered. This Friday they ran out of coffee mugs and plates. Seems like retraining of staff and quality control will payoff in future of the business. I hope the owner takes this 3 star review as a positive feedback and corrects these major issues.
