Have seen them for years and finally stoped in to have lunch. Had the chicken Thali, Dhal Makni, salad and rice served with naan and yogurt dip. Although I wasn’t greeted by a very courteous and helpful waitress, I wasn’t really expecting to get what I found until I began eating. Outstanding!! Every part prepared equally well with spices and sauces that were simply extraordinary.

I write very few review because my experiences have been frankly average or worse. This is a place worth finding and visiting.

What a nice surprise. I liked the chicken tikka, rice, naan. They are all mild in taste. Their raita and lentil soup are so delicious and light. Good for sensitive stomachs. Overall is a good place for Indian food.

Not a food review. But this place is shut on Sundays. We came here just to find It closed. Restaurant needs to update their timings on Google.

This place is so delicious. We’ve loved their food for years, doing regular takeout. This time we actually went to eat at the restaurant and it was amazing. Tandoori mixed platter sizzling fresh out of the oven - delicious. Chicken Korma, tikka masala, garlic naan are all amazing too. And the nicest staff every time. It’s a small gem of a place!

Wow! Every time I go here I am blown away by the flavors and the smiles! This is Blackhawks best kept secret. I love the chicken tikka masala and the spinach saag. Also my wife and daughter are gluten free, so this checks off all the boxes for a majority of the dishes. She even gave us a free mango lasi for my daughter to try and she loved it. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for that home cooked meal feeling!

The tikka masala is outstanding. We order here once a week. I would probably eat there daily if that would not be weird. The family that runs it is very gracious, friendly and hard working.

Easily the best Indian food restaurant around. While it is mainly takeout, the food and service is what makes this place stand out.Pia's parents make for a dynamic duo to deliver delicious meals, even when taken home. Can understand why some folks are frustrated that there is no dine-in but finding servers this day and age can be difficult and costly.Have since moved to Walnut Creek but still come back to Danville just for Pia's!

We went inside to eat. The owner came out and made a big sewn that they don’t seat people. Food might be good, but the owner doesn’t know his manners! He should at least advertise to go only.

I just had lunch here for the first time. I was extremely impressed with the Korma, Biryani rice , Naan and Mango Lassi. Just delicious. So good in fact that I'm inviting friends to go back this weekend. The waitress/,owner was very personable and the cook came out and greeted his customers. I could see he took great pride in his food. He commented on my Saffron colored outfit and made me feel special. This is rare these days. Evrn to see someone of the same ethnicity cooking their own ethnic food ( instead of getting inexpensive cooks who did not grow up eating or cooking that particular regional food). I highly suggest you give this place a try. It's pricey, but unlike so many other places, it's actually worth the price.
